Seems very nice and sturdy, and up to the job.Keys slide in and out very smoothly (stop your dirty mind...), handle turns smoothly, and the door locks as it should do. It really is very easy to install. 1 screw on the side of your door, and the old barrel does slide right out - if you have a uPVC door.Makes life much easier when going to open a locked door from the inside, to someone who's knocking outside with a takeaway. Without having to fumble around trying to find the key.Nice that it comes with 3 keys too. Keys are quite firm themselves too, and cut nice and sharp.Highly recommend. Just be sure to measure the length of your old barrel. I didn't, but I was super lucky that it just happened to be the size that I needed...

Very easy to fit, i fitted into a door that has a Yale branded lock and ended up using the Yale locks holding screw as the one that came with this was too long to screw right in.Even though Euro locks are supposed to be a standard 10mm size they are not, this is slightly shorter and narrower than a Yale so you do not get a perfect fit and you can see more light coming in round it than the Yale had.Works great but not as perfect as i had hoped (it could be Yale are oversized).Easy to get fancy keys cut at Timpsons as spares as the key shapes are fairly normal.

Fitted to a 8 year old UPVC wood framed door. Removed the old lock within minutes and this new one fitted perfectly (after a little jiggery / pokery). I was worried that after this much time it would be more of a challenge but everything went smoothly.The lock itself replaces and double key operated barrel door lock - which in hindsight should have just been a single key one side - with thumb twist (as this is) on the other. I Much prefer this lock type to the old one.Overal, very happy

I replaced my original lock it took me five minutes to do this very easy fix to install now to lock to the door I just turn to the right

I replaced our key locks to make it easier to exit the house back and front without having the key to hand. Very easy to fit. Remove one screw on the old lock and slide it out. Push this in and replace the screw. Just be careful to order the correct dimensions. Measure the old lock before ordering. Look good. Nice action. Recommended.
