Well written
Just did a quick browsing, seems like the book covers various basics from how engine works to how an electrical map looks like with clear explanations. It is not gonna make you a real mechanic just by reading it, but I would say it lays out the very fundamentals to becoming a mechanic. With that, and consistency of practice, yes you can become an entry level mechanic. My only complaint is that the colored printed pages were only exclusively for the engine chapter which is about 36 pages, and then the rest of the 9/10 of the book is black and white.

Absolutely love this book, goes into huge amounts of detail and is still kept simple and easy to understand. This book has been a great help to me and would definitely recommend it, very educational
