First, you have to understand what you are buying this for ... this was bought to keep little ones from getting to the guns. As long as you have those expectations, this is an awesome product!I have seen some reviews that said that the safe would open for any fingerprint .... well .... they are meatheads and didn't read the directions. The safe will open for any fingerprint, IF NO FINGERPRINTS ARE STORED. Once you store your first fingerprint, then NO other fingerprints will work. Also, while storing your fingerprints ... give it a straight on sample, a sideways sample, sideways the other way ... ect. The more "real" world samples that you give it while storing, the better your success rate when opening the safe, and you don't want to have a misread at that critical time. Also, store several different fingers of your own, just in case. I did the first three fingers on each hand, just because in a moment of panic, I didn't want to forget which damn finger it was. Lastly, I walk by and open it every day, just to check. Opens EVERY time, quickly, and quietly!VERY PLEASED!

This gun safe is solidly made. In an effort to keep our family safe, we needed to purchase this to house our permitted handgun.The fingerprint sensor is accurate and intuitive to set up. You can store up to 48 fingerprints, so you can choose to do each finger on your hand so that if you need to get into the safe, you don't have to worry about 'was it the thumb or the forefinger?' Just do them all.This is fully padded and has straps that you can attach inside to keep the gun pressed against the foam so that it doesn't rattle around. You can also choose to keep some ammo inside as well or another clip. Your choice.If you choose to mount this on the wall, simply pop out the rubber stoppers on the back and hang the unit onto the mounting bars.The black matte metal that this is made from is strong and well finished. The directions for setting up the fingerprint scanner are clear and accurate. There are also instructions to contact the company if you have difficulty with the unit.I've recommended this to our neighbors who use a large floor safe that takes a few minutes to get into.This takes, literally, 3 seconds from the time you scan your fingerprint to the time you can get your piece out.Also, if you choose to use the key only, it will not lock itself accidentally without the key in the lock.

This is a cheap gun safe. Definitely don’t recommend. At first glance it looked like it will do its job good enough as a bedside safe. My thumb prints registered easily. Then i tried my wife’s which didn’t register until she washed her hands. He fingers were moist after and it did register. Not confidence inspiring. Set up was easy but thats not my issue. A few days later i tried to open and both of my thumbs did not work and i had to get a key to open and register again. Another few days goes by and now only one thumb works. This safe is designed for quick access and thats where it fails. If I hadn’t thrown away the box already it would definitely be going back to Amazon.Updated reviewDuring the first couple of weeks safe would not work and I kept registering my thumb print. Now since my thumb was registered like 20 times its been pretty consistent in opening every time.

I was a bit scared after ordering this product and seeing the reviews that the fingerprint reader would open for any fingerprint. When I received the unit, I went through and tried it out and had the exact same experience... but something wasn't "right" in the setup process. Basically, if this happens it means that you didn't program your fingerprint properly. You'll know you did if the lock does NOT open each time you're putting your finger down to program it, and if you get a green light at the end of 6 readings. Otherwise, you waited too long between pressing the program button and starting the reading process. I'll continue to test this to ensure it is safe, but I once I figured out how to properly program it (which is not very clear from the instructions), it seems to work just fine. It does open QUICK, which is nice.

I am teaching them how to handle a gun and be safe, but as a parent, once can never be safe enough...I do not intend on "collecting" guns, so I needed a small, secure and easily accessible gun safe. A more experienced friend recommend this "CACAGOO Gun Safe".As you can see in the pictures, it has all the necessary equipment to secure it to a wall/floor. It is made with solid metal and I strongly believe it will need much more than just a hammer to get it open using force. The steel is tick. The key is a round, very hard to reproduce one.I personally gave the key to my wife to secure and I use it with my fingerprints. It works very easily (see video) and I never had a problem accessing it.I recommend this safe.

For the money I think this is a nice gun box. The box is made of sturdy metal. The fingerprint opener worked perfectly for me. I set up 4 fingers on each hand which will make it easy to open quickly in the event of an emergency. I used the enclosed cable lock to secure it to a fixed object- unless a thief has a bolt cutter they’re not getting it. The interior is roomy and well padded. I wonder how long the batteries will last and if I’ll have to reset my fingerprints when the batteries have to be changed. Time will tell but this would be a minor problem. Many other products with similar features were much more expensive. This box will keep the gun from getting in the wrong hands while making it easily accessible to the right hands.

Amazing safe. All the people who say it reads anyone’s fingerprint are suuuuuuper stupid and didn’t read the directions.I feel bad for the retailer because I almost didn’t buy the product because stupid people writing stupid reviews.The finger scanner is the same as a real one on a phone. If you have wet fingers it won’t even let you in. Let alone a different one of your fingers or someone else’s.Works great. It’s light but they have anchors I’d you’re worried about that.
