This is a tough, well-built safe. The cylindrical keys make lock-picking more challenging. For things you might otherwise use a safe deposit box at your bank (for a fee), this is the way to go. I would recommend this to anyone with such a need. The carrying handle seems a little less than the safe should have, but I don't intend to be carrying it around. It is heavy too.

After four years of use handle broke off completely as a security safe box supposedly fire proof handle made out of plastic could have just burned off if there was fire just nothing a design flaw.

Hopefully this is fireproof and will save everything if I even encounter a fire🥺. It came without locks but the company send me replacements since Amazon wouldn't. It doesn't hold as much as I'd like but that's because of the fireproofing materials. I'm counting on this to save my stuff if I can't grab it and get out in an emergency. I need another but can't afford 2 at this moment. It's good to know it's somewhat safe. Con: Anyone could walk off with it if they see it though. It's not very heavy at all. I'm old and can carry it. I'm not sure how sturdy the handle is. It seems to be some type of plastic. If so, it'll probably melt near extreme heat.

Great small, portable safe. It’s waterproof and fireproof and has a handle for easy carrying. Great for your closet or under your desk for easy access. Great for important papers and items you need quick but safe access to. Great buy and great price.

Heavy, has a handle. Smooth opening & closing. I ordered one that wasn't portable but it had holes on side & bottom to mount. If not mounted, bugs, fire, water could get inside. It holds a bit less than I thought. Will work great for what my needs are.

Pro: Looks well constructed. Fits 9x12 envelopes but not 10x13. Not too heavy to lift. Con: Rubber gasket came loose in one day, so not waterproof. Lock flimsy, could pry open with screwdriver, might pop open in fire. Bottom line: Save you money for better product.

This Sentry Safe box It's a lot heavier than you might think - it has to be solid in order to create a seal in the event of a fire that will protect your documents for up to 1-hour at 1700 degrees F! If you are looking for a Fire Safe and Secure safe to prevent your valuables from being stolen it will cost a lot more... So to get a SAFE that is also Fireproof, look for features that the safe is UL Classified to endure 1 hour at 1700°F that will keep interior temperatures safe for irreplaceable documents and valuables...

Va fenomenal para guardar en ella toda la documentación de la vivienda y polizas, y pertenencias de valor... puedo decir que de verdad funcionan, soy bomberos y en mas de una ocasión me a tocado recogerlas a petición de la aseguradora, y a pesar de que el plastico se desace, el resto sigue intacto y sin sufrir desperfectos en su interior ni por calor ni por agua, yo tengo 2 en mi domicilio y las recomiendo 100%.

First of all, I did not expect the size and weight of this thing! It’s huge!! And, it’s also pretty heavy. It’ll fit stuff nicely except one thing. You’ll need to fold an 8-1/2x11 sheet since it won’t sit properly, but other than that, so far no complaints. I used to have a small metal safety box, but it’s no where close to this. With this, I’d be confident my stuff is safe!
