Cracked on delivery
Bought this product for Canoe and Kayak trips, works great however, when it arrived today, It came with a small crack already in the bottom cap, like it was tightened too much, I'm concerned that it will spread will not work as intended after a short period of time. I will contact customer service.

Excellent pump
This American made pump is excellent. I previously purchased from Amazon an imported model with a plastic shaft. It does work well enough, although after several uses the pump’s action is starting to feel rough. In contrast, this model uses a stainless shaft; its action is very smooth and it moves water quickly. I am very pleased.

Sturdy and well built
Sturdy and well built...just wish it had a hand crank instead of the push down pump. I feel like it's going to be worthless if I ever turn over because it only pumps with the height of the stroke
