I chose this brand of Pterostilbene for two reasons: 1. It is sourced from Silbinol, a reliable standardized extract. 2. It doesn't contain a bunch of needless excipients, only rice hulls. It seems to be the best quality of all the brands sold on Amazon.

I liked that the excipients only contain rice hulls and nothing I can't pronounce. It's a good dosage and is standardized. I've always had good experiences with this brand!

These pills are a lot bigger than my normal pterostillbene pills. I feel that they are working and giving me the same results as my normal, smaller pills. These are just much harder to swallow because of their size and that is my only real complaint. If they were smaller they would be much better.

With ingredients like Pterostilbene it's best to go with a branded form since you never really know what you are going to get otherwise. Supplement buying online from the myriad of companies selling on Amazon is always a risky business so to find a quality trademarked version of this ingredient at a good price is a real find. If you re looking for a Pterostilbene I'd recommend this one.

This was a tough product for me to review. I tend to lean on science, but there is so little reliable information, I had hoped to have something from my own experience to help clear up the murkiness. The studies that show the benefit of pterostilbene are wonderful. The murkiness comes from the abundance of "trans-" pterostilbene products that are available, everywhere. Product labels are not always forthcoming about the fact they are synthetic versions of pterostilbene. This product is very upfront about their source. The price is also a reflection of that source. What I do not know, for certain, is if it makes a difference. I tried this product for over a month, but I simply could not tell the difference. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I had hoped to notice some subtle difference. I did not. In summary, I gave this product five stars, because they are one of the very few naturally sourced versions of pterostilbene. They are transparent on the source, and that is the only way you can be assured you are getting the same supplement that has actually been studied and proven to have beneficial effects. It is more expensive than the synthetic versions (much more, actually), but to many people this is is worth it. Bought this supplement to help with egg quality as I undergo fertility treatments (IVF). Pterostilbene combine with NAD is supposed to be really benefit. Many studies were done with high dose ACAI to help increase IVF success rates, however pterostilbene is said to be much more bioavailable. I have been taking one capsule a day combined with my NAD capsule and I feel great. I feel as though my energy has increased a bit as well which is just an added benefit for me. No weird side effects or smells coming from the bottle. Did a little research to try and find 3rd party testing and have not had any success with that which is my only complaint. Overall happy with this so far. If you are going through fertility issues this is a great supplement to take, but in general this is great to help give your aging body some energy again!

While the evidence isn't exactly long-term, it seems to be a promising chemical. I have taken it for about 7 years.
