Instead of brushing it on out of the tub, I actually put this primer into a refillable paint pen, and it has quickly become my absolute go-to base before using acrylic markers. The quality is honestly beautiful, and my only real regret is that I didn't buy the white version at the same time to have both options on my workbench!Performance & Real-World TestingIn terms of application, this gesso goes on incredibly smoothly and doesn't run or drip, even when fed through a pen. It dries remarkably fast, and once it is fully cured, it delivers one of the most intensely matte finishes I have ever seen on a 3D print. Crucially for 3D graphics and models, it helps seal the layer lines perfectly, which prevents subsequent layers of acrylic paint from wicking into the microscopic gaps of the print.
