Good value remote for Fuji system
The media could not be loaded. Bought one for my Fujifilm X-T20. Very good value compared to its more expensive counterpart. Comes in a thin box with a remote, cable (one side is labelled for camera side) and an extension cable. The sides of the button can sometimes be a little sensitive as a light pressure will make it start focusing.

Cheap and cheerful, remote shutter control without the need for a battery
When it first arrived I was a little shocked at just how cheap the construction but to be fair it clearly keeps the price low.Took it out for some long exposures the following weekend and it works perfectly.A minor niggle is it insists on treating the half press on the way down as a focus instruction which if you have a ND on will never work as its basically just all black in the view finder. Easily worked around by finding focus then turning your lens to manual focus for the long exposure. The lock for bulb mode for a long exposure is simple and works every time though (after the focus workaround).I can imagine I will get a great deal of use of this.

Great value
I needed a replacement for a Nikon MC-36 remote cable. Replacing it with a MC36a cable would have cost more than £150. This unit costs £11. I only really need the remote shutter release function and it does that very well and it doesn't require batteries to do this. I also like the fact that you can detach the cable from the main body of the unit which means you can leave the cable attached to the camera and just plug the cable into the unit when you want to take a shot. Anybody who owns a Nikon DSLR will know that fitting a cable to the 10-pin socket every time you want to use cable release is a pain. So all you need to do with this is attach the cable to the unit, which is simple. Some people have commented on the fact that the Kiwi UR-232 is a bit plasticky. Yep, it is. But here's the thing - the Nikon cable is also a bit plasticky and it costs 10 times more. The Nikon cable can do more stuff, but if all you need is a cable release, it's a no-brainer.

Does what it says on the tin
I purchased this item for a Canon 800D and it works fine. I bought this thinking that i dont have to have it battery operated so connectivity is no problem at all. It works perfectly well and i am pleased with it.

Seemed ok, then it wasn't.
Those 5 star reviews can't have used this for very long, or in the field. I thought it was a bargain, worked and was 10x cheaper than Fuji. However, in reality (three weeks in the field) it just doesn't last. As others have said, the remote falls off the cable if left hanging. I was going to use electrical tape to keep it in place as an easy fix (why remove the cable anyway?).But then I noticed I was missing shots as it wans't firing. On review, I have found a lot of shots taht had taken were out of focus. Further testing has found the half-press isn't always working, and when it does the full press/shutter release seems to not fire on too many occasions to be acceptable.I'm not one for checking every image every time (and in the field, freezing cold, dark nights etc who can check every image in detail on a 3" screen!) so am annoyed at myself for trusting this product with something as essential as focus. I know, I should have switched to manual, but I didn't and regardless, it wasn't the camera that messed up..I'll be buying a Fuji replacement and hope Amazon sorts my refund. In the meantime I'll use the two second timer again.

Cumple su función
Está bien, no es que sea de mucha calidad, pero funciona, algo interesante es que trae un cable prolongador para cuando necesitas separarte de la cámara, por ejemplo para hacerte fotos a ti mismo o en grupo.
