I drive my car for a living. My armrest on the door is hard plastic. Very uncomfortable. I have had this for a while now and it's awesome! It stays in place and it is keeping its shape :) I definitely would recommend this product.

Transitioning from the luxury hotel f a Lincoln MKZ to the affordable and fun WRX was not without compromises. There is a lot of hard surfaces in this car. This elbow friend made a huge difference. Raised my arm up 1.5" and is very soft.

The driver's side armrest for some reason is way too low to be comfortable, in almost every car I've driven... and my last vehicle, the vinyl got all cracked and broken where my elbow had been... even though my elbows are soft and not rough or scratchy, so I don't know why. But when I got my newest vehicle, I searched for something to help protect the vinyl and hopefully increase the height. The Elbow Friend is PERFECT!! It raises the height to be perfect, so now as I'm driving, I can relax my elbow on this cushion, and I don't have to slouch or lean to my left to reach it... it's the perfect height. It's also MUCH softer on my elbow, which makes it more comfortable as well! I also like that it uses hook & loop/velcro to attach, so IF I need to move it or remove it, I can easily.I highly recommend this for anyone who likes to rest their elbow along the door armrest, but theirs sits too low to be comfortable, or to save/protect the original vinyl, or even just want something softer and more cushion for their elbows!! Really great product that works perfectly and solves numerous issues at once!!

2017 F-150 XL std cab. I have a center console with a padded arm rest that fits pretty well. The height of the door arm rest was too low for comfort. On my truck there is room to put both pads so I did. My arm is supported perfect when I hold the steering wheel at the 7 o'clock position or just rest it like you do while interstate driving with one hand (I know.... not really safe to do that but much safer than using a cell phone like a lot of peeps). Where it REALLY helps is when you're not driving and you just want your arm supported while it's not on the wheel. That's when it's like being in an easy chair. I have a long torso and sit higher than most so your experience may differ. NICE.

Got these as a gift. Definitely nice improvement over the standard armrest in my 2012 Prius, which for some reason is far too low to be useful (and I am not tall by any means). The only complaint I have is that there is a fair amount of lateral movement when it is attached, so it feels like my arm is going to roll off sideways at times. That might be more about the car than the product. Comes in a 2 pack. I wound up cutting the second one in half to make a longer pad when used next to the first one.

I was thinking of trading in my car because it was not comfortable for my arms. There was always a gap between my elbows and the console. Also a gap between my elbow and door no matter the seat adjustment. I have carpel tunnel and my arms go numb. I love these elbow buddies. It gives me something to rest my arms on and I have a very comfy ride now, No more numbness. These things are just the right height and width

I used them when I got a new truck 2 years ago and the drivers side that gets used a lot every day is still like new. I gave one to an employee who liked them and his held up as well. The employee just got a new truck and wanted one for comfort and to protect the armrest. They must be well-made and the peel and stick installation was super easy. I bought 2 sets after having mine for 2 years and that is the best endorsement I can give.

I've had to drive my Prius cross country and Toyota forgot that some drivers might do that. The ineffective padding on the arm rest and center console left me with aching elbows after a 700 mile trip. I just ordered a second pair of this to add to the center console. Feels good to rest my elbows on these pads.

Using these on my computer chair, and I would buy these again in a heartbeat.- Memory foam is VERY high quality.- Covers are comfortable and removable for washing.- Velcro is strong, hasn't moved at all since attaching them.I've tried others, and most of the time they have had one issue or another, mostly poor quality memory foam that deflates after a month.
