Nice design and contemporary stovetop I used in a remodel. Nice price, too. The electric starters work well, and there are four different sized burners. Never heard of this brand, but happy with the product.

What a pain in the butt, but it looks good! For the price of this thing you can't pass it up. The one I got came with the regulator (which is ½in on the fitting) for propane. The unit has a way to change from natural gas to propane built in. Just look how to in the instructions. When I installed it the flames seem a little high on the low setting. Did not have a clue how to change and after an hour looking online found someone that shows it on this model.To adjust flames. You unscrew the little screws holding each burner. Lift the glass off and you'll see the valves at the bottom (see pictures) you take a flat head screw driver to close the valve clockwise to lower the flame and counter clockwise to make higher.I closed mine all the way and opened a half turn to start. Find where it's best for you and then reassemble.Make sure if you use with propane to change the jets over from natural gas to the propane that are included (it's a 7mm btw) you need a wrench on middle burner and ratchet or 7mm attached to screwdriver.The unit I received did not have a way to secure it down but stays in place when installed.My wife is satisfied and I'm happy it's over. Easy to clean and we are still happy with this buy.

It is easy to install, it looks good, it works good, but cleaning time is difficult. The grease/oil smears instead of being removed. Maybe I didn't use the right cleaning solutions so far, but I will keep trying different cleaning products, and when I will find something that works good, I will update the review. All together, it's a good product. Same day I wrote the review I found that Meguiar's D10801 Super Degreaser diluted 1:4 parts works perfect on it. Easy to clean and wipe spotless, or almost spotless.

Until we get this blasted thing hooked up I can only give it one star though I’d like to give it no stars. The fitting for the propane/gas line has a European threading, BSP, and as far as I know, does not correctly connect to any US threading. Someone asked in the “questions” about this and the person replied that they found everything they needed at their local hardware store or HD. That’s crap. Every single hardware and appliance store I’ve called or visited, and there are a lot of them, has told me they don’t have anything to fit on that threading and are as confused as we are as to why they would sell it like this. I called Empava customer service and they told me to get a certain adapter from HD that “works for everyone, it’s tested.” When we got there we found that the fitting, #1, does not have BSP threading so how can in properly fit?! #2 converts the 1/2” fitting to a 3/8” fitting which is useless to us bc we have a 1/2” propane line. When we tried to explain this to the woman from Empava she became very impatient and rude. How can it be safe to connect 2 fittings with 2 different threads on a gas line? We bought it anyway, since it’s an hour drive for us, with a coupler to change it to 1/2” but that doesn’t have the same threading either so we’re very wary of trying it. We are DIYers and shouldn’t have to pay someone to hook up what should be a simple stove top. Why in the world would a company that sells to the US not have a US thread on their fittings??!!! Or at the very least include the damn fitting that you need. It’s absolutely ridiculous. We didn’t order online so that we could drive and call all over creation trying to find the flipping part that should be included in the first place! So far, Empava sucks. ~ very unhappy customers :(*UPDATE*We finally got it hooked up. I have no idea why Empava tells you to buy this fitting from HD that doesn’t properly fit (super dangerous) when there is the actual correct fitting here on Amazon. Anyway, my review still stands at 1 star or more like 0 star. I loath this appliance. And I cook a lot. Aside from the fact that the burners may or may not stay lit or you may need to hold the knob down for up to 3 minutes for it to stay lit or it doesn’t even work after 3 min and you get fed up and eat salad for dinner, the burners burn so high that even low is more like medium. I can’t imagine what you would do with the biggest burner on high besides starting a horrible fire. It’s scary. I can’t simmer anything. Even on the smallest burners on the lowest setting my pot still boils. So disappointed. I’m sending it back and will never buy anything from Empava ever again.

No local propane hoses seemed to work. Had to buy a high-pressure propane hose with included gauge and regulator that fit the included 3/8ths flare fitting for the stoves inlet (ended up not using the included regulator). Swapped the orifices to the ones for propane, which were included with instructions. However, the knobs would not make the propane flames any lower at their lowest settings. Did a lot of reading and watching, and found that knobs have adjustments per-burner. It's a brass adjustment screw on each burner control that's just barely visible once you take off the knobs and the silicone gaskets under the knobs. Look up adjusting gas stove simmer setting. Most videos show the adjustment as inside the stem of the knob itself. These were not. They are instead just up and to the left of the stem—flathead brass screws, small, under the stainless top, which we did not have to remove. Once each burner was adjusted, the low settings were lovely with propane. Keep in mind, the inlet pressure is 0.4 PSI for propane or 2900 pascals. The high pressure hose we got goes 0-60! So turn the regulator all the way down, and then up just barely moving the needle off of the zero pin, or maybe not even registering at all.

The regulator was no good. Had professional come in to install. He had to come back 3 times. Finally had to replace regulator

The stove works great, but the rear burner is to close to the edge of the stove, can't use the rear burner with a large pot, the flame hits the wall.

It is a nice cooktop. We were looking for a cooktop with glass top. This is the what we found. We have installed it a couple of weeks ago. So far so good. Flames are good and powerful. the only issue we noticed, the large center double flame, is not ignited as easy as the other ones. Sometimes needs a few trial and you need to wait in between to let the gas disperse. Without this issue I would have given it a 5 stars.

The media could not be loaded. It came with two corners of the unit cracked, plus the insulator on the igniter of the biggest burner was broken with a small piece missing. That caused the igniter to misfire, at the base instead of the tip thus not being able to ignite the burner. I noticed these defects after I installed the cooktop. And this is after the supplied fittings didn't fit and i had to purchase a flex cable with proper fittings for an extra $40. Another problem was with clearance between the cooktop and the oven underneath. My previous cooktop had the gas connection facing towards the backwall t in the middle of the unit This one has it on the far left side of the unit and facing downward. With the flex cable installed I didn't have enough clearance between the top of the owen and the bottom of the gas connection of the stove, so i can not slide the owen back in the cabinet without hitting the gas connection. I had to be creative and lucky at the same time. I had to cut part of the owen top cover to create clearance, lucky for me, that area of the owen was just empty space under the cover. As i said earlier i noticed the defects only after installation when I wanted to test the stove.As for the quality, the stainless surface of the stove scratches very easily and is rather thin and filmsy. Flames on the burners are not perfectly even (unlike what's shown on the photos). For the time being the burners light-up easily and stay lit. Burners are noisy at the highest level. I haven't tested the safety feature of the stove yet.Conclusion: The product turns out to be non-returnable, so I am trying to prove the defects and the mulfunction to Amazon via photos and videos.. My final verdict is i can not recommand this stove.

Beware of fraud my manufacturer and amazon itself. I purchased this product and it came defective when approached amazon they refused to accept it and when approached manufacturer they denied return. So I am loosing $800 now so don’t even consider this item in your wish list or you will end up in a trap
