The frame worked well.

Great for my application with an aftermarket front off-road steel bumper. Allows license plate to sit flush with bumper and perpendicular to the ground. High quality beefy hardware included. Very easy to mount.

I had to purchase a separate Winch Lead as this “universal” bracket does not work with the Badlands Winch that was on this Jeep Wrangler when purchased. The description of working on all these vehicle models/manufacturers is misleading as they do not manufacture the Winch or Leads used for the Winch Rope. The description should describe what Winch Leads it is compatible with, not what vehicle. I will say the bracket itself is excellent, seems to be well made and easily installed, although no instructions of any kind are provided.

I just bought a fab four matrix bumper with a winch installed and a fairlead. The factory license plate holes caused the license plate to cover the opening and so you have to use something that flips up. I thought this unit would line up to the factory license plate holes but it does not. It lines up with the fairlead bolts. Problem is the bumpers installed with a winch and you can’t get your fingers down there to undo the fairlead bolts. Additionally if I were to of installed this behind the fairlead as designed the plate would sit below the bumper and possibly get whacked while 4bying. Therefore I just drilled two, half-inch holes in my brand new $2500 bumper just above the fairlead. The plate covers the winch opening but flips up beautifully to give plenty of space to utilize the winch rope. Additionally my fab four symbol is still completely visible. Happy with the product and the solidness of it.

Not a bad option, makes the Jeep legal again (got a warning for no front plate recently), but it dies not lock open. Also, if like me you have a branded fairlead that has a crown with the company name, it won't fit, had to install mine upside down, hoping the friction is enough for it to stay up, might have to rig a zip tie. Good enough for now but arm's need to be slightly longer to accommodate all fairleads and the friction instead of a positive lock is another ding. For once, the powder coating on a Chinese part actually was not bad.

I recently inherited my dad’s Jeep and I’m new to the modification life of everything he had changed from the stock model wrangler. After previously purchasing a basic vanity plate holder, I realized I needed something for the wench bumper. This was easy to install, and holds up great to the bumpy life of wrangler driving.

This is a great plate holder for your tag.... it is very sturdy and a great price too.

After market bumper will be a better fit, its a bit heavy for factory bumper
