Good item, works fine, I was a bit worried about the distance for detection, but when I tested these it was almost exactly 15mm distance for detection, which was plenty for me.

This double pack of magnetic contact reed switches is a great buy for DIY home projects, with fixings included for installation. The quality is what you pay for. While the quality seems good, it feels basic and I worry how it may hold up over time. However so far, they are working brilliantly.

Connected these to an ESP32 and then stuck to my door. ESP32 is running ESPHOME which is then connected to Home Assistant. I get instant notifications when the door is open. These reed switches aren't overly sensitive so they do have to be quite close together to actually get the 'closed' signal. They were extremely easy to setup and good value for money.

Simple, quick, no problems, I would have preferred a PVC-PVC coated two core cable rather then two separate PVC core cables as it looks tidier but they did the job fine, I have them installed and they work. No issue.

It's a normally open switch. NO. Not as the ad describes NC. Duh!

These are pretty good. Quite sensitive and the reed switch closes when the magnet is about 1cm away. Comes with screw holes in the reed switch and magnet, screws and sticky pads to secure them. Probably about 1ft of wire from the reed switch which does go into breadboard.

Good what it does, but size is small

Wer smarte Zustandsabfragen in Home Assistant, Alexa-Routinen oder einfachem Alarmaufbau integrieren will, ist mit diesen Kontakten sehr gut beraten. 5 von 5 Sternen – tut genau das, was es soll, zuverlässig und ohne Schnickschnack.

Die Leitungsenden waren etwa 3 mm abisoliert, hatten aber in den Klemmen keinen richtigen Kontakt. Nach anderweitiger Fehlersuche ohne Erfolg und Trennung der Leitungen, weiterer Abisolierung funktionierte es auf Anhieb. Alles bestens.
