PURILENSE REPLACEMENT!!
PURILENSE REPLACEMENT!for years, I have been buying the UUUUUUUUUUUBER expensive PURILENSE brand because it was the only brand that I could find that worked for my scleral lenses. My doctors said I could try other small vials of salt water combinations that you might use for things like nevulizers but I never found combinations that were quite right and I always wound up drying my eyes out. There might be a good combo out there but I was too afraid to waste money trying and failing, especially with the very delicate eye condition I have where I am constantly on the verge of losing my vision if my eyes get too dry. Since this was advertised as being an actual preservative-free saline specific for lenses, the price was so cheap, and it was refundable, I decided to try it and I am SOOOOOOOOP HAPPPPPY I DIIIIIIIIDDDDD!!! With PURILENSE , you get 40.8 Oz for a WHOPPING $53.00!!! This was even MORE Oz at 44.4 Oz for SEEEEEEVEN DOOOOLARS!!! I mean, good on Bausch & Laumb for recognizing that this is nothing more than salt water and not taking advantage of those in need. I’m literally going to start using more of their products now because of this. Because what an AMAAAZIMG value. I need two boxes of PURILENS per month for my eye condition. This was a huge hit on my fixed income pocket book as my eye condition has me on disability. I can’t evenBEGIN to tell you how much joy it brought me to try this and have it work.NOOOOWWWW, the caveat that a doctor will bring up to you is that it comes in two bottles. Doctors will tell you that at the end of the day, a 3.4 Oz bottle should be thrown out cuz it could develop bacteria that could cause an eye infection. I’ve had scleral lenses for nearly 30 years. I’ve left the tops off bottles and left bottles lying around for months only to find them later and use them. I mean, it’s SALT water. Salt water is what we use on wounds to fight bacteria in wounds because it tends towards being bacteria resistant. I have never gotten a single infection from bacteria (watch me get one now after saying this!). I have never thrown out my 3.4 Oz PURILENSEbottles until every microscopic ml was gone. At that price?! Are you kidding?! I simply can’t afford to. Anyways, back to this stuff-these come in whopping 22.2 Oz bottles and not only that but the bottles I received don’t have pointed tips like PURILENSE bottles which makes them challenging to work with so they will need to be transferred to smaller bottles if you decide it’s ok to risk the possibility of bacterial contamination. As I am not a doctor, you need to make your own decision on that. There are plenty of types of bottles on Amazon you can buy in bulk on Amazon for a very cheap price. If you plan to reuse your bottkes, I recommend you use glass bottles as they’re cleaner and you can sterilize them. However, at this price, I would think you could actually buy far more convenient bottle sizes in plastic, soak them in super hot water and dish soap before use, fill them and then throw them out after each use and buy a new pack in bulk when done.Anyway, I’ve suuuuper digressed. This product feels and works EXACTLY like PURILENSE. The ONLY saline solution I’ve ever liked better was solution that actually came directly from an IV bag but obviously that’s not something you can get too often. The things doctors recommend you try that are meant for things like nebulizers, etc are just too harsh for me. PURILENSE has what’s called a buffer in it and I suspect this does too. That cushions the eye and makes the solution feel better. I can’t recommend this stuff highly enough!NOTE TO SELLER: I’m about to suggest this product in my PURILENSE review. I hope you get lots of new customers because, while I have a high respect for capitalism, that type of product is downright inhumane.

NOT FOR CLEANING
I’m reading a lot of reviews where people are saying they use this for cleaning and storing their lenses, THIS IS NOT FOR CLEANING or storing. This is a saline solution for RINSING after you have used a disinfectant of some sort. It even says so in the pictures/box. Please read before you end up with an eye infection. With that being said this works well for rinsing. I mainly used it to rinse my eyes when I had an infection/they were crusty. And now when I have time, I use it to rinse my soft contacts (after they’ve been cleaned/stored in a multipurpose disinfectant solution), before I put them in.

Good and inexpensive
I ran out of solution one day thinking I had a spare bottle around, I usually get it from Costco and that trip wasn't for a few days so I needed something small and cheap. I got this one because it was the cheapest, but it actually ended up being a pretty decent solution. I noticed my contacts stayed moist longer and I could wear them longer than a month. I figured the cleaning ability must be better and gets all the proteins off. It's also nice that the bottle is clear so you know when to get more.

Best solution I've ever used
Best saline I have used so far. No irritation at all. I thought it was my contacts, but it was the solution the whole time.

great price
This price is unbeatable and works great! I wear biweekly contacts so I go through a good amount of solution when cleaning them daily. Hydrates contacts and no irritation to my eyes.

Bought this to keep one downstairs and one upstairs.
I needed some contact solution, so i grabbed this two bottle version so I can keep one in the downstairs bathroom and the one in my bedroom.
