Darn Tough Boot Full Cushion Sock - Women's

I do not deserve these socks. These socks were made in Vermont, by people who know what the outdoors really looks like. These socks were made for mountaineering, backpacking, and visiting National Parks.I do not deserve these socks. These socks were not lovingly crafted to be stuffed into overpolished, ridiculously expensive Doc Martens for everyday business casual. These socks were not stitched with utmost care and craftsmanship, for us poor bastards inhabiting office parks.I do not deserve these socks; they are the finest socks I've ever worn. They are the perfect boot sock—yes, even for businness casual black or brown Doc Marten boots. They are truly the socks I needed.

After walking 200 miles on the Camino de Santiago in Spain wearing only these Darn Tough Merino Wool socks I give them a 5 star rating. These socks were comfortable, durable, washed and dried well and my feet were very happy. I bought 2 pair for the hike on the Camino and they still look good as new. Well worth the money.

My toes are constantly abnormally freezing from november to march despite living somewhere not particularly cold. I use these socks daily while working - standing on cement floors all day & sometimes working in freezers a few hours some weeks. I've tried tons of socks & virtually all of them have failed to keep my toes from feeling so cold they feel numb & tingly. These socks are seriously a life saver for me & though the cost is steep these are the only socks that help my toes. I seem to be suffering from cold toes in winter due to health problems & these socks have saved me from that problem. Without these socks I'd still be wearing upwards of 3 pairs of socks. I would be so upset & worried if these socks became unavailable to me someday. A "womans large" in these socks fits my size 10 feet (womans size shoes) perfectly. I LOVE THESE SOCKS!!! i am also on my feet all day at work & the cushion of these socks relieves stress from standing on cement floors all day every day. Well made product.

I was looking for some warm socks that wouldn't make you feel like you were sitting in a sauna after a few hours, especially when you're asleep. I have tried SO MANY socks. The search is over! These are great for chilly days or nights. I can walk across my cold tile floors without slippers and my feet are still warm. They arent the kind of warm that make your feet sweat either. I can actually sleep with these on and not want to rip them off because they're making me hot in the middle of the night. They seem to adjust to your body's temperature because one night it was very cold and they kept my toes warm. The next day as I was doing some cleaning it had really warmed up but my feet didn't feel sweaty or too warm. I was pretty amazed by that.They work well with all of my boots and shoes. The cushion is throughout the bottom of the foot. It's not thick, bulky cushion. It seems to actually be just the right amount.I was a little worried when I first got them that the toe area was going to cause issues with not fitting properly or being a bit to big. However, with one wash that corrected itself.The best part is these socks are MADE IN THE U.S.A. As for sizing I wear a size 7.5 shoe. I purchased size Medium and the fit is perfect.Follow the washing instructions: Wash inside out in cold water. Don't place these in the dryer. They dry super fast so that's not an issue.I love these socks so much I just purchased another pair. I plan on slowly replacing all of my socks to the Darn Tough brand.

I bought these socks for hiking trip to the Grand Canyon I have planned for April 2020. I just took them out on a preliminary hike. The hike was an easy three mile hike, but it is November in MN, so I was curious how they would work in cool temps. My hike next April will be done in a range of temperatures of (possibly) 30-80 degrees over four days. (It will be a R2R2R hike). These socks did not disappoint. My feet stayed warm. They never sweat, got too hot, or too cold. When I got home, I didn't even take them off... Usually I am whipping my socks off as fast as I can so my feet will stop sweating. The socks ( and my feet) didn't even stink (another reason I usually whip my socks off as soon as possible). I just might be buying a few more to wear as my everyday socks! With a lifetime warranty, I believe these might be the cheapest and best pair of socks I have ever owned.

AMAZING. Warm. Soft. Wash well. Great colors. Camp and hike with them. Curl up with them. Wear them to work. These are the best--beating Smartwool (I like them still) and EMS brands for DURABILITY (as in, my heel is not worn like those brands are!)

I can't say enough good things about these Darn Tough socks. I've bought quite a few over the past year. It was hard to justify the cost at first, but people raved about them. I bought one pair and liked them, so bought another, then another. Different kinds.The Full Cushion are soft and warm. Easily the best socks for winter ever. They fit well and stay up on my large calf. I bought some for my mom and girlfriend, who said they were too warm to wear at night. For cold feet at night though, I wear the "No Show Tab Ultra Light Cushion" socks.They say there's a lifetime warranty which I presume I will use some day, but I have 5 or 6 pairs now, wear them constantly, and see no thin spots or issues yet.

Best hiking socks I have ever used and now the only one I will use. Amazed!

These arrived promptly and feel great! Time will tell whether their lifetime guarantee is really that realistic but they feel well made and I am happy with them.

Superb socks. Love them. Have bought them to test out in anticipation of thru-hike of PCT. They are warm and comfortable - no blisters yet and also dry out very quickly.

Can't rate these highly enough. So comfy and they are fantastically hard wearing. Christmas presents for the family for the foreseeable future until everyone has a full set!

Amazing product and great service

We are slowly replacing all our socks and chose Darn Tough because they look great and do the job. Every time they are worn they stand out. They bring a bit of class to every outfit and still manage to keep our feet warm and dry.

I received a pair of these for Christmas and after putting them on, was actually more excited about them than my new beautiful skis, lol! I am 40 years old and this is the first pair of socks that has FIT me as an adult. My feet are size 5/6 and the one size fits all, never fits all. I've tried kids socks, yet they are too small. An added bonus is they're super warm and very cushiony, gets cold here in Smithers B.C. and they keep my feet warm and cozy without being itchy. I cannot say enough about something as simple as a sock. I went to the store where they were purchased and they were sold out, so I ordered two more pairs on-line. These are the ONLY socks I will buy from now on :)

I love my Darn Tough Hiker socks! They keep my feet toasty warm in my hiking boots - even at -21C (-5.8 F)!I have always suffered from cold feet during outdoor winter activities but not anymore! Thank you Darn Tough Vermont sock makers!

Darn tough are the only socks that I buy now. They fit right, are xomfortable and very durable. I am wearing the heck out of them and I still don't think I will ever have to claim on the lifetime waranty. Highly recommended. It

Darn Tough's are the best. Like these as they aren't too thick or thin. Height is good to wear in boots without any rubbing. Will definitely buy again

The leg of the sock stays up all day, no need to pull them up! There's also no bunching up which is nice. Very comfortable and keeps the feet feeling nice and dry. Still reasonably comfy in ~25 °C weather.

Luv the socks. Cant wait ro use them on my backpacking trip on the Wonderland Trail. I have tried them here locally on hiking trips. They are soft, cushiony and my feet have not gotten hot. So far so good!
