Two great things about these, or actually three. First of all, there are two of them included as indicated. The value is great, about half the cost of the big brands. And they definitely work!I put one on my Husky on September 5. Today is November 5. Last week he had his annual checkup at the vet and was flea and tick free. That was very reassuring and a great relief. He spends a great deal of time on a tie-out cable in my wooded backyard and has had a flea/tick problem before. I liked using the collar type prevention for two primary reasons.First of all, he doesn't like the "chewable" alternatives, and secondly, it was always hard applying those liquid types since his undercoat is so thick, that it's difficult make sure I get enough of it on his skin.

My order arrived on time and in perfect condition. I have a Shih-Tzu dog who goes outside in my back yard every day. I got this collar for her so she doesn't get fleas. I also got a pack of two collars for my cat so both my girls can be well protected. All I had to do was put this collar around her neck, but not too tightly so she can breath - then cut off the excess length. When the time comes, I'll cut this one off and put the second collar that came in the tin on her. The great news is that she gets fourteen months protection for one low price!Ernie

Dog had no fleas

I have bought these for my dogs for 4 years. The first 3 years they worked great but this year they didn't work at all. I feel like instead of repelling fleas the collar called them in. My dog was all ate up around her neck, ears and head really bad. The quality of them has gone way down and I will not but them again. I used to hold this company in high regard but they have lost my trust in them and won't waste my money on this brand ever again.

Both my dogs got into a tick nest. The one (who's collar broke 3 days prior) was covered. I'm talking hundreds if not thousands. However, my other dog only had maybe 20 on him. They were also all on his stomach as far from the collar as they could get. Super impressed considering the situation! Other than this situation we have only found an occasional tick. I love the quality and especially the price.

I like a more natural prevention for my dogs. We were in the middle of Summer in the Middle of no where, off the grid. My dogs swam, hiked, walked in all type of brush. I got 2 ticks on me but so far I haven’t found any on them, hope this helps.
