This is true analog with a BBD chip, which makes it a steal...
Absolutely fantastic pedal. For a true analog pedal, $25 is a steal. Please note, this pedal has a actual BBD (Bucket Brigade Device) chip that creates the effect. Other "analog" pedals in this price range (for example, the Donner Yellow Fall for $35) are not really analog, they are digital devices that simulate analog. Is this a big deal? Well, if you want standard delay sounds that "sound" analog, then the digital stuff will do it very convincingly (a digital pedal can do a slap back delay and cut the treble so it will sound warmer). However, the great thing about analog gear is that you when you push it to extremes, you get all sorts of great over the top sounds. Think of the distortion from a tube amp as opposed to a solid state amp. I use this on the back end of an arturia minibrute analog synthesizer, and get all manner of incredible feedback sound effects when I crank up the "intensity" knob and start dialing around the "repeat rate" knob on the pedal. You can't do this with digital pedals without getting all sorts of unpleasant digital artifacts. By the way, the next pedal up that is true analog delay? The Ibanez analog delay mini pedal at $120. After that, the boss waza at $150. So again, this is an incredible value.

Great delay
This delay pedal is quiet, adjustable and has a great delay that adds texture to your sound. Just as good as many others out there for a great price. In my experience, this pedal has less noise than some others, indicating good circuit design. Yes, it is made of plastic, so it may not be the tool for that hard core touring or bar-hopping musician. For the rest of us, it is a 5 star product.

Good Little Box
I use this with microphones for harmonica. It has a really good sound. It doesn't rob you of any sound quality. The delay effect is pretty good. It will go from 0 to self oscillation. It does a really crazy oscillation thing if you adjust it while sound is going through it. Kinda fun to play with. It has one input and two outputs. One output is wet and the other is dry. I cracked it open and modified the outputs so that both are wet. It now acts as a splitter so I can feed two amps or a monitor amp and the board. Works like a charm. If you are electrically inclined, this little guy would lend itself to modding. If you need an analog delay, this little guy is cheap and sounds good. Be sure to flip for the AC power supply. This little guy will eat an expensive 9 volt battery in about 12 bars. Okie Fats Out

Nice!
As someone pointed out, most of the Behringer pedals are Boss clones, though they said it like it's a bad thing. This one is no exception being a clone of the boss Dm-3 analog delay. Other than being plastic and much less expensive than the real thing, there is nothing wrong with Behringer pedals. If you don't believe it, you can find plenty of side by side comparison videos online. Sometimes you get one that doesn't work on arrival (or doesn't work properly), which is true for just about anything you order online. I have had the same thing happen with Boss, Ehx, and and a few others. No worries, you send it back and get it replaced, no big deal. I had to send an EHX Big Muff back 3 times before I got one that worked properly a few years ago and that is one of my primary pedals (on my second one now). As for this pedal, it does exactly what it is supposed to do, and does it very well. Listening to it, you really can't tell the difference between this, and something much more expensive as far as analog delay pedals go. So you don't get to flash a big name brand on your pedal board, who cares if it works?? The fact is, I have started replacing my existing pedals with Behringers as they wear out because I can't see, or justify paying hundreds more for something that does the exact same thing and sounds virtually identical in all but a few cases. When my big muff goes out again, I will be using the Behringer copy, it's just more cost effective, and I have had a chance to use one, and I think it actually sounds a little better than the EXH.

Another winner from Behringer!
Here's why I like this pedal.. 1. It is clean. The analog aspect of this has been thoroughly covered in other reviews so I won't rehash all that but would add that -for me at least- the effect has a warm quality to it that I really like even compared to other way more expensive ones. 2. Not over the top! Some pedals that offer Delay are really good too but don't allow you to really dial it down like this one from Behringer does. And I really like that you can dial in a very subtle effect to add just enough delay to accent the guitar tone without killing it and that's a very good thing. 3. Price. It was $25 bucks - cheap - nuff said. 4. Complimentary. This pedal compliments the other pedals I have on my board very well. It will definitely become a must-have addition of that I am confident! 5. Quiet. I am blown away by how noise free and quiet this pedal is. And yes, I am talking about relative noise as compared to others. Is it dead quiet? Well, no. but for me what little noise it makes is probably attributable to the florescent lights or even the power supply block I am running it off of. So no complaints there. 6: Plastic but feels solid. Yep - the Behringer pedals are made from a heavy grade plastic but I have not a second thought about all of my other Behringer pedals and have played out numerous times over the years with some of them.. in fact an older Behringer pedal I own has out lasted a much more expensive Digitech pedal that I purchased less than 2 years back! Final thoughts: Buy it. Its $25 bucks. It works great! Do recommend using it with an AC adapter or connecting to your board. Keep Rocking!

Meh. It operates.
As with most of the Behringer stuff, the price is surprisingly low, and that's the draw. The unit's plastic construction isn't a problem for me - I don't gig. Works fine with no noted PSU noise (no hum/buzz/60Hz...) from my pedalboard power supply. I've been fiddling with it for a few months, and it just doesn't have a sweet spot. I don't like it enough that I ever want it on. You can get short-delay doubling, but the control the delay-time knob gives you is not fine enough to get it just right. You can max it out to full delay and it sounds not so much like a large hall as it does a cheap pedal. That and I'd like about twice the maximum delay out of this thing. C'mon, charge $5 more and make it more useful. When I engage this thing, whatever clarity and bite I had seems to disappear - not just due to reverb muddying things up; that I expect - but the original and delayed sounds just don't seem to retain the clarity I want. I'm assuming the insides of this pedal are something like the "bucket-brigade line" delay pedals that started to come out in the early 80s. This pedal reproduces the feel of those - including the not-so-great fidelity. (Happily, I can't hear clock signals, nor aliasing, so we've come a little way forward in 30 years). I'm guessing there are not many people pining for the sound of the old Electro-Harmonix delay lines - what you're likely coming to this pedal for is one of two things: 1. a cheap, crisp digital delay - and this pedal is NOT that on either count. 2. a tape echo (like an Echoplex), but in a more convenient solid-state form. This pedal tries a little bit to be that, but it doesn't have the fine control you need to work it as you would an Echoplex, and the knobs are tiny and down on the floor. I think I'd move along and try something else next time.

Big brand Sound but wouldn’t survive being run over by a truck
Like many others have pointed out, this is made of a hard plastic. However, I don’t usually switch my pedals on and off with a sledge hammer so I’m not sure the durability assessment is as bad as others have stated. I suppose if you regularly jumped from the top of a Marshall double stack on to the pedal it might not last long. Another consideration is that if you are chucking the pedal against a brick wall (repeatedly), you may have trouble. Generally, if you are a well adjusted, functional human it should be fine. As far as the Analog delay goes, it’s right on par with Its Boss counterpart. Keep in mind this analog delay so it’s a bit more of a 60’s sound vs a modern digital rack sound.

Terrific pedal for the money
I bought this thing because I want to put two delays into each other -- the other one is a Boss digital delay. There are moments when you need to make some fuzzy noise that ISN'T fuzz or distortion, and two delays into each other does the trick. (Think Metz.) So I expected to mostly use the digital delay by itself and only ever kick this thing on when I needed to make a racket. BUT, I love the sound of this pedal so much that THIS ONE is the one I use by itself for a super-spacey kind of reverb sound. It really is terrific sounding. For the money, you can't beat it. I've only had it a few months and played a few gigs with it, so I can't speak to the quality of the build. But right now, I'm pleased as punch. Bypass some of the more expensive analogue delays and grab this thing -- especially if you aren't sure you're gonna like delay.

Good pedal
Great analogue delay at budget prices. Sounds just like the og.

Analog delay for the slap back
This is an analog delay pedal and if connected before the crunchy pedals gives the sound a nice tape delay without adding noise. It starts to induce noise heavily when most pedals cross 75% level with a shrill. This can be used with control over knobs to give a sci-fi effect and can be reset easily with the knobs reduced to lower values. The only trouble is getting that 'slap back' delay is not easy. It depends upon the tempo of playing and this delay needs to be calculated according to that tempo. Trial and error is needed but there is a headache if tempo crosses certain value, this 'slap back' delay will not be induced at all! Ok product for seasoned players with technical knowledge only not for beginners.

Utmärkt pedal till bra pris!
Låter precis lika bra som flera gånger dyrare produkter.

Buneno, bonito y barato...

Indispensable
Les review on raison. Si vous cherchez un delay au top, manoeuvrable et agréable à utiliser. N'hésitez pas ! Même si c'est du plastique c'est du solide.
