just came in today! wasnt supposed to be here until tuesday! very fast delivery! has some heft to it but very sturdy. blade is strong, has a beautiful shine(may try to polish and get a better shine but its very good as it is)and grip is solid.. i may put some grip tape on it as it is very smooth and may get slippery if my hands get sweaty. blade is pretty sharp but im gonna hone it and get it better. sheath is very good too, has the zipper style retainer and feels like itll hold up for a very long time. havent had a chance to try it out yet but 1st impressions are this thing is amazing. keep in mind machetes like this or similar ones were meant for light duty, not to be chopping down trees so dont get discouraged by other negative reviews. use it for what it was meant for, take care of it and it will take care of you. so if youre preparing to fight of zombies or need a defensive machete during a post apocolyptic wasrland to fight off bandits on the road, this machete will be your best friend, great price too for something that will be a great addition to a survival kit. get this!

This Bolo Blade is exactly what I needed to complete my “The Book of Eli” costume!! I read most of the reviews and decided to make a few modifications for the flaws other customers mentioned. The flimsy nylon sheath I reinforced with a few layers of camo cloth tape until I find a better sheath. The handle had a slight looseness so I also wrapped the handle with a few layers of camo tape issue solved. It is very sharp, I nicked my pinky so handle with care. AWESOME PROP!!!!

Well, ask yourself what are your intentions of it's use within your possession. I enjoy hiking and clearing brush and it works well for that, I have no idea what your intentions could have been. Not my business but for whatever the reason in mind....it's tha bomb diggity! Very sharp!

Overall, I like the fact that the the blade is made of a "Carbon" based stainless steel, making it a strong, durable blade. The carbon also means it not only should hold a good edge but will be easier to sharpen.Upon picking it up in my hand, it felt well balanced with good solid wood handle grips.My only disappointment was with the case. While it adequately covered / secured the blade, the attached strap struck me as "WAAAAAAY" too thin, flimsy, WAAAAAY" too small in length. The obvious intent of this strap was to be fully adjustable and to be carried across your back - a very good and safe way to deploy it. To sum up the carrying case, "MICKEY MOUSE".Still, "LAME" carrying case aside, the knife itself is a very good quality material, well made and a practical tool for the outdoors. In short, a GREAT value for the price!Terry

Accurate size and description. Came with a nice, sharp edge.

Blade holder ripped on the first day I received it. Small button at the bottom of the holder that catches the blade broke right when I opened the package. Shoulder strap was tiny and barely fits on my shoulder. Item clearly didn't match the description and seems very cheap made. Also in the picture description the shoulder strap was bigger and also adjustable.Can you please send me the correct item that matches the description?

Knife was as described and even better! Weighted a little toward the pommel just like it should be. (Makes it faster). Love the knife. The case was as described with one exception. It is configured for belt carry NOT SHOULDER CARRY. That’s not enough to return the knife. I can reconfigure the case but that is a little disappointing. Was a little LIE on the sellers part
