nice lga1200 cooler
This fits intel sockets for years, now we can add lga1200 to the mix, using it on a W-1290P in a 2U case and the CPU typically stays around 50C-55C under normal workloads, but If you max out all cores it can hit 93 C which is simply too hot and you will need much stronger cooling.

Amazon Shipping is a JOKE!!
Once again I stupidly ordered something from Amazon US and it arrived damaged. The amount of times I've been stupid enough to fall for a cheap price and the item has arrived damaged. This is the last time. The Dynatron Coolers are awesome, but look at the photos of what I received. The cooler was smashed and there is no way I am using that on any computer I own. What a waste!Amazon US... get your act together!! Stock shipping fragile items in flimsy cheap bags for international customers. This cannot be good for your bottom line, although Bezos is probably making so much money he wouldn't care.

Will Not Fit Dell PowerEdge T110
I have a Dell PowerEdge T110 that I wanted to use this unit on. Even though the socket type is correct, the fits run perpendicular to the airflow of the heatsink shroud, which prevents airflow from properly working. Second off, the springs that hold the screws down are far too large and tight so the screws do not even properly reach the motherboard to screw in. You could potentially mod the springs but cutting them so the screws can push down toward the motherboard, but it's just a lot of work. The fins do not point parallel with airflow, so even if the screws fit, it would defeat the purpose.

Good size/temps for an HTPC
Fit well in my HTPC case. Not loads of space to spare, but went in with no issue. Installation was a no-brainier. Temps are good so far. I get between 70 to 80F, according to my case's temperature read-out, which is only slightly warmer that the old active cooler.

Works great for my custom build
Works perfect for my custom rack mounted Intel i7 6700k build server. Temps are great with the case fans that are in the case. Quality product.

Great cooler, has a specific use case so be mindful of your setup and the orientation of airflow. (NOT a gaming pc CPU Cooler)

Great 2U Heatsink
Good quality and very easy to install. No issues fitting it onto my motherboard or case. For reference I am using a supermicro X10SLM+-F and supermicro 2U SC825TQ-600LPB chassis. The chassis fan near the heatsink hovers around 2700 RPM and keeps the CPU around 35 C.I was a little unsure about the metal "mounting strips" instead of an actual backplate but it's solid.Included are some pictures of the mounting strips and heatsink because finding some besides the stock image pictured above is near impossible. You can see compared to intel heatsink it's significantly bigger which is exactly what I wanted. And yes...the qtip was for cleaning thermal paste.Hope this helps.
