Very nice knife stand if you know what you are buying. IMO the only downside for somebody is capacity, it is good for holding 4-5 knives based on their size and width, as it was mentioned you can't use it approx. inch from each side because magnets do not go that far and also you can't use reverse side of it while some other magnet knife holders are two sided. But for minimalists like me (I only have chef's, bread and couple of vegetable knives) it works very well. Craftsmanship is good, beautiful wood with matt look (no lacquer or other coating). It goes with honing steel included which you can store in the slot on the back side, but it is not convenient for me so it fits on the front.

Beautiful knife block! I would much rather have this than some chunky block that hides the knives. It holds the knives in place really well so there is no fear that one of the knives will fall off in a dark house while you have your back to the kitchen watching scary movies!!!!!! I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to display their knife set.

Exactly what we were looking for. Fits about four knives without overcrowding. Nicely displays our knives. Strong magnetic but easy to slide knives out.

Strong magnet, but it was a lot smaller than expected. Returned because I needed more room. Not magnetic on both sides.

I love this knife stand. Unique and classy way to store knives. The only downside is if you put a knife close to the edge the magnet pulls it inward and the knife sits crooked (see photo). That doesn’t bother me since I don’t have a lot of knives and mine all fit.
