Beautiful color
Pilot inks are always great. Very nice colors and great quality. It drys fast and looks fantastic on a white paper. Highly recommend Pilot inks.

This ink is gorgeous!
So, I got ink samples from Goulet Pens and they had a gorgeous deep orange and I knew this would fit the bill when adjusted, because of shopping GP for stationery, fountain pens, rollerball pens, pencils, ink, etc. They actually are very knowledgeable, they ship very quickly, and any problem you have can be resolved. You can REACH them. Crazy. Anyway, the ink itself is a lighter orange on it's own, it handles beautifully, it's a fairly wet ink but I knew that I was going to mix in a little bit of my Higgins Black, which is not as wet an ink as this. It darkened the ink to a GORGEOUS burnt orange, perfect for your fall art and journaling, bujo people hear me, this mix will look really good on your page. It also means it's not quite as wet, which is good in this case as my main journaling pen (Faber-Castell Ambition with modified nib) writes a bit wet anyway. Now you know, color theory is your friend.

Zesty Vivid Sexy
Like all Iroshizuku inks, fuyu-gaki (persimmon orange-red) flows well, and seems to be on the wetter end of the spectrum. However, while the color is quite brilliant, it's not my favorite orange. I think I like "burnt orange" and this is quite definitely a reddish color. It gives a very saturated persimmonny line on fine paper--- a vibrant color on white or ivory stationary--- but as is often true of good saturating inks, it doesn't shade with as much subtlety as some other Iroshizuku colors like Kon-peki blue or the very brilliant Tsutsuji Azalia. This vendor was very good, however, an excellent price for superb, well behaved ink, and I had my order in about I week if I remember correctly. That's excellent for stuff coming out of Japan. You should get it if you like that orange end of the spectrum and sport it about in a stub italic on letters to lovers. Zesty.
