Perfect for early readers
We love the BOB Books! They are simple, engaging, and perfect for building confidence in young readers. The short sentences, repetition, and phonics-based approach really help kids sound out words on their own. My child was so proud to finish an entire book by themselves! A great choice for parents or teachers starting the reading journey.

I may just buy the other levels as my daughter masters this set.
I have read good reviews about this set and decided to buy. There are 12 books in this set. Each book is numbered 1-12. The higher the number, the more 'advanced' the text to read. Book 1 has all words that can be sounded out. Book 12 contains sight words like "the". My daughter, who is almost 5 years old, who has never read a book on her own was able to read a couple or a few pages of one of the books on her own. She is very good at sounding out and blending cvc words. She was able to just sound them out from the book and read the pages. I WAS SO PROUD OF HER. The stories are short and not overwhelming.I WOULD 100% RECOMMEND THIS BOOK SET.I DO NOT REGRET BUYING THIS SET AT ALL.

Wonderful first step into reading, great construct, love how the sets build on each other
We love this set. We have two other sets of early readers books and have to say that this Bob Books and the Beginning Readers Bob Books sets have proven to be favorites with a child who is just learning to read. The first book our little read was from Rhonda's Readers and was quite small. It was a perfect first step. As we continued, I found these sets seem to be the ones LO goes back to over and over. They are in a box, which I honestly think ups the appeal for LO, though they are also a great length with just the right amount of words on each page. I also like that there is a page in the beginning that tells which main sounds will be worked on in that book. This allows littles the opportunity to focus a bit and know what is coming, to a certain extent. I think it helps to know there are limits to what they will be asked to do, yet the pages are challenging enough to make them work to read. There are not too many words on each page and the books build as you move through the set and into the other available sets. We are very happy with these books and saw an immediate increase in reading interest when we get them. Highly recommend.

Its worth the value of money paid. Loving it.
My sister gave me the idea to buy these books for my toddler son to learn basic words and sentences. These books looks good and i am hoping my son ability to learn basic english words increases. These books are easy and simple to understand. They have good pictures in it for the toddler to identify the correct words and use it in real life.

Helping my autistic 5 y/o learn how to read!!!!
My son just turned 5. He’s VERY smart and VERY stubborn. He’s also autistic, so some things have been a little hard for him…. Like sitting down to read a story. I actually thought he was hyperlexic at one point, because at 18M he knew all of his letters and numbers to 100. He was even counting backwards, and at 2 he was doing simple math. After 3, he stopped wanting me to read to him, and he struggled to learn his letter sounds in preschool.I ordered these after watching him try to read stuff in Minecraft. Of course, the first thing he said was “I HATE books.” Then I showed him there were only a few pages, with a few words on each. He got excited about that! We sat down and read Book 1. He actually focused on the words AND said a few before I did! This kid *can* read, he just doesn’t want to.He helped me read the first 6 books one night, and the next morning he wanted to read the next 6. We’ll keep reading them this summer, and I have a strong feeling he’ll be a reader by the time kindergarten starts!!! 👏🏼They’re great! Buy them. 📚
