These containers are great! I first discoverd them when I ordered some chinese take out. I knew this container was of great quality after a few microwave uses, a few times in the dishwasher and even a time or two in the freezer. So I went back to the restaurant and ordered more food just to get another container (until I realized that I could purchase some on Amazon).These versatainers are not only an affordable atlternative option for home use, they are great for restaurants to use for take out purpose. I wish all restaurants put my leftovers in these containers. As for home use, it sure is nice to have containers to ship cookies in as gifts, or during holidays and not have to worry about getting the container back. The lids stay on so firmly that you don't have to worry about them popping off during shipping. They are also microwave, top rack dishwasher safe and freezer safe. And they are re-usable. I get about 6 really good uses for just one container. They are great for basic storage of small hardware items like nuts and bolts, crafting supplies, or storage of your kids crayons and such. As a new mom, I mostly use them for pre-making and freezing dinners for myself or for my husbands lunch to use on days when I don't have time to cook.To give you some background, I normally use your "name brand" store bought see through containers/ with lids that are suposedly supposed to last a lifetime. Last time I spent [...] for a 12 piece (6 small containers and 6 lids), and within the year, they became cracked and stained so i had to buy more. In a nutshell, In the last 2 years, I have spent over [...] less than 15 containers that have already needed replaced. So i highly recommend these versatainers for everyone and everything.

12-May, 2013 I bought a package of 150 containers with lids. My intent was to use them to hold squash and melons off the ground in my new garden. Commercial versions were $10+ each. The containers upside down worked really well.23-January, 2019. They are still going strong. They have been through the dishwasher many times, been in the garden, used to feed chickens who know to come when they see us with a black dish, frozen with left overs, used as saucers under plants.... Over 50 dishes are still in use. I gave away 50 tops to be saucers under plants our Children's Garden club potted as a service project.Attrition is mostly due to being given away or chewed up by the dog. You can't go wrong with these unless you don't have enough space to store them.

While 24 oz sounds large, this is really the perfect size for taking lunches to work or even sending home leftovers with the holidays. The beauty is that you don't really care if you get the container back,I've bought some that have vent holes and I don't like that, these DO NOT have vent holes.They are very sturdy and wash up well, though I have not put them in the dishwasher. You can reheat food in the microwave with them, but I have not, I just keep a glass bowl at work and transfer my food.My containers are not white, they are black. It does not make a difference to me, but if you were wanting to send holiday treats or something, it could be an issue...

We use these every week for prepping freezer meals. They're durable, go directly from freezer to microwave, even the lid, and they're dishwasher safe. They're perfect size for main dishes, and masking tape labels stay on the lid in the freezer just fine.

These easy to use and re-use containers with lids made the perfect replace of other brand food storage and meal planning! I use them for everyday and meal preparation. They wash in the dishwasher and ready to go again! Easy and super affordable. When they wear out I can easily recycle and use another! I don't have to worry if I lose either!

i was introduced to these by a friend who works on the base. these are fantastic, food storage, lunch box, microwave or togo to take to a friend. easy to clean and very reusable.

Great for lunches. I use almost every day and wash them out. They will last at least 10 -15 washes in the dish washer. If you hand wash I would say allot more. Price has gone way up on this product since I originally purchased .
