I've been looking for a organic hair shampoo, paraben free, sulfate free, and not like water! This brand is all that PLUS ANIMAL CRUELTY FREE!!! I love this brand now and my go to, that's why I invested in this gallon size! This tea tree oil infusion shampoo is great! Gives a cooling tingle feeling in the scalp and tea tree oil promotes hair growth which is a bonus because I have thin hair and who doesn't want more hair? I use this product every time I wash my hair and I also bought the body wash from this brand but the conditioner isn't as moisturizing as I would like. I have thin long straight hair (Chinese). Oh fun fact after a few months of using this product my hair grew like weeds! But everyone is different just a reminder.**UPDATE December 2017It’s been a year or so since I bought this gallon shampoo and it’s still amazing! Love that it has tea tree oil because it helps manage the ph level on my scalp and help promote hair growth! I did got bored with this shampoo due to the smell. But totally regret it and reminded me why I love this shampoo!! Used another brand of sulfate free shampoo yes it left my hair smelling nice however my scalp didn’t feel as clean. I love the tingling feeling on my scalp with this shampoo (from the essential oils) 1) I know it’s working 2) I know my scalp will be clean. I have oily hair and I wash it twice a week but since I cut my hair shoulder length to donate it’s harder to just do a updo when my hair gets oily. 3) hair growth!! For me 1 inch each month!!! This shampoo is just awesome and really helped with my dandruff and itchy scalp.

Great shampoo - doesn’t have any harmful ingredients. Have used for years and always get complimented on how healthy my hair looks

I rarely write a review, and why would I bother on shampoo, but I have to say, this has not only cleaned my hair well, but my hair also looks better. When I put on the shampoo, I leave it sit a few minutes, and I feel it penetrating my scalp which is NOT something I had in other shampoos. I highly recommend this product. It was fair priced, and it really does a great job. I do not think you will be disappointed.

I have been using this shampoo for years. I am sensitive to a lot of smells, but this smells great without being overwhelming. Lathers well and leaves hair feeling clean.

I love this shampoo. It's sulfate free, lathers & cleans well, & smells great. Leaves hair soft & shiny, especially when paired w/ the matching conditioner. Doesn't over-dry & works well to prevent & treat dandruff &/or psoriasis. I used to use this shampoo daily, but have switched to co-washing with the matching conditioner and only use the shampoo once or twice a month to "deep clean" without stripping. Highly recommend to anyone with any hair type looking for a sulfate-free shampoo that actually lathers.

I don’t know what it is about Giovanni’s Teatree formula, but it reduces my hair loss every time I wash with this shampoo. It’s most effective if I wash every day. I’ve looked at the key ingredients and tried to buy hair loss shampoo with those ingredients that specifically targets anti-hair loss anti-thinning treatments, but none of it has worked so far. So I don’t know WHY this Teatree formula would work for my hair loss. I don’t know if it grows any hair at all, but when I use this every day, I go from losing 50 strands of hair in the shower to 10-20. However, it makes my scalp itchy when I use it continuously 4 or 5 times a week, so I use it maybe 2 times a week… also so that I can work some biotin shampoo into my washes (since I only wash my hair every 2 or 3 days). Then I realized I could combine the Giovanni Tea tree shampoo with my biotin shampoo in my palms and wash that way. But like I said, the tea tree makes my head itch a bit, so I can’t leave it on for too long. I feel like it’s really strong because the longer I leave it on, the tingly becomes too intense for me.I’m still trying to find a formula that works for anti-hair loss that has Giovanni’s Tea tree ingredients.For some background: I am female, 37, curly hair, have hypertension, previously took olmesartan but now changed to lisinopril and oral 2.5mg minoxidil. Giovanni Tea Tree shampoo has helped during all of these medications, but didn’t completely stop all hair loss.

The cool, refreshing effect on the scalp is amazing. The bottle holds a generous amount of product, and the quality is top-notch. I’ve really been enjoying it so far!
