Utterly Amazing Science Hardcover – Pop up, August 18, 2014

I purchased this item for my 7 And 8 year old boys. They are thrilled with all the pop ups and flip tabs!! Adds a bit of extra excitiment to learning. I like how they have side notes of "this at home" which then gives them a little hands on activity which is just added renenforcment of what they have just learned, but in a fun hands on example. Definitly glad i bought the book. The font size varies from large to small. Some of the small print makes me wanna bust out a magnifying glass (printed under the tabs). However it is packed with awesome information!! All in all if i rated this book I would give it a 10. I believe it can hold the intrest of a child who loves to know facts or just plain curious.

Educational, well made and beautifully designed book

Borrowed this book at the library and my 5 yo loved it so much we got it as a birthday gift for him. Easy to understand, good graphics, fun pop up tabs.

Lots of interesting facts and information, in a well designed format (pop up, flaps, etc) that get little ones interested in science.

I bought a bunch of this line of books for my 5yo for Xmas...they’re great!! Lots of flaps and interesting interactive things for a little guy who is learning to read. I can also see this being a set of books that he will get value out of as he gets older as well.My ONLY BEEF is that when they discuss plastics, they discuss how “durable” and “long lasting” they are without acknowledging that those adjectives also denote a material that will not biodegrade. I suppose in the face of China’s recent ban on importing our recyclables this is more on my mind than ever.All in all these are great books and an awesome addition to any grade school kids library!

We have a four year old who loves science and is usually gentle with his toys. He loves the book so far and the flaps and pop ups are all still intact. Great book- interesting for kids and the adults reading it to them.

MY daughter-in-law, grandson, and I love this book!! It is fascinating and has great projects for youngsters to try, such as making ice cream in a ziplock bag! As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to get it.

This book is fabulous for anyone really! I bought it to have in my classroom to inspire young minds. It has lots of pop ups and great illustrations. Happy with my purchase!

Bought it for my 4 year old nephew and he absolutely loved it. The images of the book are good, I already had purchased a similar one from usa and this one fell to be cheaper in india. Go for it.

I never write reviews, but I feel compelled to do so in this case. I have three young children (6, 4 and 2) and a house full of beautiful children's books. But this is, without a doubt, the most fantastic book in our collection. Are you sick of breaking out in a cold sweat when your children ask you simple questions that you should know the answer to (eg "Why is the sky blue?", "How are rainbows created?", "How is electricity made?")? Well - sweat no more! This book, and its stunning illustrations, "pop ups" and "lift the flaps" will help you to explore, recall and understand these topics with your child. We all knew the answers to these questions at school, and can muddle together a vague response, but this book will enable you to get it right every time. My husband and I are supposedly pretty intelligent, but we felt constantly humiliated by not having ready answers to our kids' probing questions on these vital science subjects. Now we can give the impression, for a few moments at least, of being pretty knowledgeable in these areas! Thank you Prof Winston!

Great for my grandson who is 5 going on 15! Is really interested in all things scientific.

I have purchased this book to my nephew as a birthday gift who is in 5 th standard and having very much enthusiasm towards science and technology. He loved this thoroughly and enjoyed it.
