TL-3/Stinger/XT Flip Lens Color: Blue

I own two of these flip lenses, one for each of my two Stinger flashlights. I've used one of them for over five years and have never had any issues with the quality of the product, so I recently bought a second one for my newer Stinger. The lenses easily slide on to the front of a Stinger, and I haven't noticed any wear on the flashlights themselves on the rare occasion that I've removed one of them.Functionaly, I love it. The lens doesn't affect the overall length of the flashlight much, and the red lighting is great when I walk with my dog Niki at night. The red helps me recover my vision after turning off the light much quicker than if I use the light without it. Also, I find that the beam of the light is almost unnoticeable when using a red filter, so the only things that I see lit up are what I have the light pointed at (when using the light without the filter, I can easily see the beam in the air). The filter does make the light less bright since it's only letting part of the spectrum through, but it's generally quite sufficient because the Stinger is very bright to begin with. It's easier on my eyes, and it's easier for me to keep a bright light from getting in Niki's eyes. When I want a brighter light, I can easily flip up the lens with my thumb to move the red filter out of the way. The lens closes easily, too, and has an audible snap when it closes properly.I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a red filter for their Stinger.

I’ve looked around the internet for a while and could not find a lens that expressly states that it’s for the Streamlight 78101. This is the one! It fits perfectly. It feels well made. Good quality product.

This is my second Streamlight flip lens. The other one was ordered some time back for my Streamlight Strion. While both of them do the job, I have some doubts about the one I ordered for my Stinger. The Strion model is made of a harder material and has a very positive feeling when I close the red lens. There is also a solid click to indicate a complete latch. The Stinger flip lens is made of something softer, and just doesn't give me that positive click when I close it. It makes me wonder about two things. Will it stay closed when I really need it to, and will it last? I have my doubts about the answer to both of those questions.Update: As I said in my first review the lens on this filter did not seem to have the same positive lock that my Strion filter had. As it turns out, this is not a concern. The filter has lasted and has performed very well. I would now have to say I am very pleased with this product.

The bezel around the poly stinger is larger than the stinger models with the metal bezel. Will not fit.

This is a must have tool if you work private security and conduct parking enforcement(having vehicles towed for "no parking permit" violations)in apartment complexes.The reason I got this was that during the process of checking for no parking permit violators was that the light bouncing off of vehicle windshields would pretty much announce that I was looking for no permit violators and they would come out of the woodwork to move their vehicles. Not only that, but there would be residents that would get pissed off because they thought that I would intentionally shine the light in to their windows.Using this lens I don't have to worry about pissed of residents complaining that I'm shinning my light in to their bedrooms. I only have to worry about the pissed off people whos cars get towed for not having parking permits. >:]

Works great in my Stinger. Seen some less expensive ones but don’t know if they work as well or the quality is as good. Satisfied with it.

Put this on my stinger, and I'm amazed at how bright the red light is. This is an excellent choice when you need light and night vision both. It fits well, but only four stars because some effort is required to make sure that it clicks into place when in the closed "red light" position. If you don't press firmly and carefully, it will sometimes pop open.

Perfect for my needs

It flips. It makes light red - think it could be a little cheaper but it is what it is. I may buy the green one next

Falls off a lot or the lense will flip open. Good for in the duty bag ready to use if you need it but not good on the belt.
