100% waterproof leak \ repair compression tape.
I use this tape on all those connections and electrical boxes. Hoses seem to leak at the clip in connectors after a while it's normally because the little rubber gasket has either come off or has perished . That reduces the pressure and if you live in a low pressure area makes life difficult. I always check the male connectors and if absent of gasket just wrap around once with this tape and the job is done . Then I normally wrap the outside where the hose is attached that gives me a perfect seal . I was going to have to buy a new p!and food hose feeder as the rubber gasket had disappeared from the male connector, so repaired it with the tape saving myself fifteen pounds on a replacement. It's like hose con sectors not cheap anymore not the branded ones . If you use the really cheap connectors you will be lucky if they last a summer of use. Using this tape when the connector is new will extend its life for years. I am just redoing all of my connections sprays etc for the first time in about two years. I have a lot of hoses and connections as I have a large garden to water so to replace any leaky ones every year would be costly. I also have a.couple of those waterproof boxes with detention s in for garden lights and water fetures. I just wrap the tape once around d the point on the box where the lid closes just to make sure I have a perfect dry sealed box it's never let me down . One other use I have used it for is to wrap electrical wire joints . The guy who does my hedges and grass has in the past cut through wires with mowers and hedge trimmers thank God for circuit breakers. And this gives a quick and safe.repair when joining cables. I'm sure you could find a huge deed uses for this around the home and garden. I like to have some handy in the tool kit. It's a brilliant repair tape for electrical wire, hose connections , pipe leaks etc etc. Even if you don't need it for a job now get some it's easier to fix a leak by reaching for the tape, rather than the ing the water off and waiting for a plumber it will save time and money in the long run.

Could Save an Emergency Call-out
I have used this type of tape before (but yet to need to use this actual tape) and it has dug me out of a leaking pipe problem superbly.. it doesn't solve every leak but was spectacularly effective -and probably saved a fallen cieling - for sealing a pinprick leak in a straight pipe..it stayed sealed for months until I finally called a plumber for a permanent repair. It saved me emergency call out fees too. I have it in reserve 'just in case'..It is clever because it only sticks to itself but once it is stuck it stays stuck even if it's wet..

Works a dream
I have virtually zero diy/plumbing experience but managed to fix a leak on inlet pipe into toilet cistern in a few minutes.Couple of words of caution. It was a tight spot and had to be careful to keep the tape neatly overlapping when taught. It goes a lot thinner when you stretch it to be effective. Also make sure you turn the water off. This worked without me doing that but I’m sure would have been quite a bit easier if I’d had a dry surface to work on before I’d got going!Used properly as described in the product description it’s great. I suspect if I’d been more clumsy could have been a nightmare to work it into place, but that would be my fault, not the product. If clear access to pipe or whatever this would absolutely fix pretty much anything.

Excellent purchase
Bought this in desperation after having two plumbers unable to fix the leak in a pipe in my airing cupboard. I thought it was worth a go. It worked fantastically. There are no instructions included so had to refer back to the Amazon page to see what to do. Take off the backing tape, stretch it, then wrap around the pipe. It’s very sticky and has stopped the leak. Highly recommended.

Absolument inutile
