Good all-around chair, for a price
Got this chair a few days ago. Installation wasn't too bad - instructions are slightly better than Ikea furniture, but not by much. It is a very solid and heavy chair, so be forewarned about that.A big reason I got it was for the certifications that came with it. I wanted a chair that I could do marathon gaming sessions and handle my wife working from home in it for 9 hours a day. It's a compromise getting this chair over an office chair for her and a separate chair for me, but one that I think this chair delivers on. The adjustable arm rests, waterfall seat design, adjustable lumbar and neck pillows, and adjustable back rest go a long way into making this comfortable. The padding is pretty firm - hopefully that means a long life. Even at a healthy (not really) 6'1" and 210 lbs, it is very firm seat. It fits me well, though. The lumbar, neck, and arm adjustments make it a treat to sit in.My biggest issue with this was shipping. UPS did some pretty extensive damage to the box and delivered it several days late, which was already considerably slower than "Prime", ostensibly because of the current viral issue. The silver lining is that AK Racing did a bang up job of packaging the chair, so even with the abuse the package suffered, everything inside was protected. All that being said, it is an expensive chair. I would almost assuredly buy it again, so long as it lasts as long as I think it will.

Bought in 2020, buy a titan Evo from secret lab instead.
This chair has held up quite nicely, however since it is now $500 may as well buy the titan Evo from secret lab. Best chair I have ever sat in. Wish I had bought it from the beginning.

Chair broke within 20 days - Poor quality build and even poorer support
I bought this chair for my husband as a birthday present. He wanted a good chair and this one ticked all the boxes, 330 Lbs max weight (he's 190), metal armature and base, good reviews...We got the chair and he was instantly pleased with up, it was sturdy and comfy, the only thing we noticed was the base was not metal but made of some kind of plastic.Long story short after 23 days of use, the base broke. My husband contacted AKRacing support since this comes with a 5/10 years warranty. It took them 5 days to reply to him, stating the claim was open and accepted but the part was on backorder and he will have to wait an undetermined amount of time before the part can be shipped. My husband replied and asked if he could have an ETA on when he would receive the new base and if by any chance he could get a metal one as advertised for this chair model. It has now been another 6 days and no one from AKRacing dared to reply to him yet. He's now considering buying a 3rd party metal base so he can use his chair again.I'm really disappointed that a chair with this price tag is so poorly built and that the AKRacing customer service is ridiculously bad, if not non-existent! Also, stating the base is metal when it's clearly plastic is totally misleading! Currently contemplating simply sending it back and get my money back! Not worth the money and they lie on the product build! Disappointed is an understatement!

plastic base and defect
Well to start off the base is plastic and mine had a defect in the hole where the wheel pushes into. It doesn't take much effort to put the wheels on. One of the hole collapsed with hardly any pressure. Visually the chair is stunning however that little defect through assembly turned me completely off. I returned it.
