Safe & Conditioning for Healthy Hair & Scalp
I have been using Morroco Method Henna Medium Brown for many years (15+). I use 1/3 of the package, to which I add 1-3 Tablespoons of Red Henna for better gray coverage. I get about 3 applications per package, so it is very economical. My natural color is very dark brown to almost black with red highlights. With this combination, I get a perfect match. I never use chemical hair dyes, but if you do go back and forth, you will likely have odd color problems, so stick with the natural Henna. Henna actually leaves your hair in better condition than before treatment. I have NEVER lost hair from using it. I rinse it well after using, but there is always a little on my scalp that might come off on my pillow, but after washing a day or two after coloring, that is no longer a problem. I just put a towel over my pillow or use an older pillowcase for a night or two. It is well worth the extra hassle to have a totally safe hair color. This is probably the best decision I have ever made for my hair and scalp. Unlike other hair colors having harsh chemicals, Morroco Method Henna absolutely DOES NOT CAUSE HAIR LOSS or DRY, BRITTLE HAIR. It is amazing. You should read about it and watch the video tutorials on their website, so you'll know how to use it with confidence, and always pick a shade or two lighter than you would think. If it is darker than you wanted, you can wash it right away to remove some of the color, but remember that it is easier to go darker if you think you need to than to lighten if you start out too dark. Buy a few shades near your color and experiment. You can come up with your preferred color by mixing shades. I always count how many tablespoons of each color I use and keep notes, so that I can tweak the color next time if I'm not totally happy and I can repeat the color if I love it.

It was My favorite henna.... not anymore
From 5 stars to ZERO. Obviously, the company changed the henna supplier, and now this henna doesn't dye hair at all, I'm not even talking about gray hair... very disappointed.Using it for last 8 years and absolutely love it. Covers all gray hair. Perfect product.

Both product quality and customer service have gone downhill
Hi, just a quick word of caution for everyone who used to buy these products and was a longterm customer. Something has changed in this company. Their management or something and the way things are being run is absolutely horrible. The henna dye quantity has been reduced and the prices have exponentially jumped up from $16 to $21. Everything else now costs $4-$5 more. They are also advertising free shipping above $79 is free and so if you order products worth that much or more, but apply a discount code, they don't offer the free shipping anymore. That is not the least of their issues. Their customer service is now run by a one woman team who calls herself their manager- Megan/MR, who is super rude and condescending. Previously, customer service reps here used to polite and nice and were always willing to listen to the customer. More often than not, they offered some concession or the other. Now, Megan runs the show, and if you ask to speak to a supervisor or someone else, she will block you and stop responding. No matter how many times you call, email etc, Megan is the one who will see it and choose to either respond really rudely or not respond at all.I finally called from a different number today and she picked up and said she is the manager there and only people above her are the president and the owner, but she won't transfer me to them. She also said her answer is no, she won't help me, and I'm welcome to take my business elsewhere. As a result, I'm literally going to do that!!!I thought I supporting a wholesome, positive small business all these years that valued it's long time, loyal customers, but this experience has soured things for me permanently.Megan also said she understands they are going to lose long time customers with their new practices, but that's the cost of business!!! Can you believe the audacity of this lady?!Okay well, Ms. President or Mr. Owner if you are reading this, these are terrible business practices- cutting costs by compromising product quality and alienating your customer base with terrible customer service. For me, it's not about the discount anymore, it's about highlighting to others to stay away from this company and it's products. Just check their employee reviews on indeed and Glassdoor. It's also a super toxic place to work and literally everyone has complained about bad managers. I do not support a company that treats its employees and customers like crap.

Horrible waste of time
I'm so upset I can barely type. All I will say is that I will never get back through past 20 hours of my life, and also the 10 I'll spend cleaning up the gargantuan mess in my bathroom tomorrow. This sucks and did even come CLOSE to touching one single grey hair. Followed directions to the T. Horrible. I'll be pushing a refund through their website.

Fell way short of expectations
I was looking for a chemical free way to add more depth of color to my medium brown (mousy) hair. I ordered the medium brown, and also the dark brown henna from Morocco Method. To be safe, I tried the medium brown first. I tested on a clump of hair from my hairbrush and put in a plastic bag... It looked good. A little darker than my natural color. Finally I took the plunge, reading the directions 10x over. The green gooey mess was extremely hard to get out of hair in the shower afterwards, it made a huge mess. After a while, I thought I got it all out. I went to bed for the night, and awoke the next morning to a green pillowcase. My hair also started falling out by the clump, every time I brushed it. My hair is so thin now, and I had to sleep on a towel for weeks to keep from ruining my white sheets! Another problem was that my hair turned a lot redder than I was hoping for. It was a neon red/orangey color for a couple weeks before it settled back down to a brownish color.A month later, I am fairly happy with the color, but not with all the hair I lost!!!!I will not be using the dark brown I ordered, or using medium brown again and they do not accept returns. I would not recommend.
