I use this to fill in and cover a dent on my nose from MOHs surgery. I heat the little spatula under hot water and the wax melts a-little when you scoop it out. Then apply to the scar and let it set.

Very effective for my Halloween costume (I made a prosthetic nose for my Zero costume from Nightmare Before Christmas). Non-adhesive, but be sure to pick one that can withstand sweating. I didn't and that was sad, but THIS PRODUCT IS GREAT!

So I got this wax for a cosplay. Decided this year I'm going to make mother scars more real. Never scar wax before. I used Vaseline on my fingers since lots of people recommended that. I also used spirit gum to make it stay better. It is hard to stick. I had gotten some of of the scar wax to stay but the rest refused. Definitely needs a lot more working on. Fortunately, it being not so sticky helped removal be easier.

If you are a beginner this product may not be for you. I say this because you will spend most of your time figuring out how to use the odd consistency's of this putty rather than honing your craft. Personally you'd be better off creating a putty out of starch and oils. This being said, for professionals this is... an okay product. Its good but really frustrating to remove. It always ends up slippery and oily which can be frustrating when doing an outdoor cosplay. Sometimes the putty just doesn't move the way you want it to and other times it does. Its a really good wax, for those who are a fan of committing to one brand and sticking to it. Personally, I've gotten quite distracted and wasted time trying to figure out how me and this product work, given I like to alternate brands depending on what looks I am creating. This is why I gave it a three star rating. Its very good! But finnicky.... and in my opinion there are better options for beginners.

Unfortunately this did not work for me. The wax was so thin and when you tried to build the product up it became a mess.

After watching a video, my 10 year old granddaughter was able to use the wax and ‘blood’ to form realistic scars for her Halloween costume. The process was easy and fairly quick to use.

i use her to make fake bruises when i do my sfx makeup as a hobby! it works well and is easy to blend.
