Genius and yet so simple!
This is the most genius invention EVER! I always have trouble hanging my belts up on tie racks and I have definitely envisioned something like this product to make my life easier in closet organization. Tie hangers only really work with the traditional frame style buckle where there is a place to hang it through. But for all the other belts, you either have to hope it doesn't fall off when you move it.This belt rack solves all belt hanging problems and separates it from the mess of having to be hung with your ties.I have given this as a Christmas gift to the guys in my family and they all love it!The only thing is that it does need to be balanced on both sides and it does seem to bend a little with all the weight, but it's totally worth the organization factor.

Great product for the type of belts pictured if you modify it and wall mount it.
Modified to be a wall mounted belt rack, it's a great product. If you use it by the hanger instead of mounting it, I'm sure it would be frustrating trying to keep it balanced, and I would not like the product anywhere near as much as I do after mounting it permanently. In my case, I removed the hanger, which is actually very easy -- just push down on it with a little force and it will pop out and slip through the bottom. After removing the hanger, I carefully drilled two holes through the back of the rack and then screwed it into the wall of my closet. This belt rack is perfect for belts that have the slide-through type of buckle shown in the advertising photo and in my photo. However, I would caution that this is probably not the best belt rack for standard belts if you care at all about your buckles getting scratched up. Buckles on standard belts will be loose and will lay on each other. If you REALLY care about your buckles, I would suggest using every other slot, since some of the buckles are most likely going to touch each other if you use every slot. I had 10 belts to hang, and so I had to put certain belts in specific places in order to keep some of them from touching. 8 belts would be the ideal number of belts per rack, even though it's actually a 14 belt rack.My advice is that if you have more than 8 belts that you want to keep looking nice and you have room for it, buy the two pack. I managed to put 10 belts on mine, but as I stated, I had to organize the belts a certain way to make that happen.I also strongly advise modifying this to a wall mount belt rack.

PERFECT!
This is exactly what I've been looking for! All other "belt racks" have the belts that stack vertically and therefore are hard to access without becoming a mess. The belts here are hanging horizontally and you can take out any belt with ease without tangling up the other belts. I love that it allows my belts to rest hanging so they don't get bent out of shape. The design is very nice. There is a built in groove for the belt buckle so you can stand it up and see all the details of the belt. The only negative I have is the material from which this is made. It is plastic. It feels plastic. I wish it were made of wood or bamboo, but honestly, its not like I'm going to handle it everyday and show it off so its fine. The function is definitely worth 5 stars! I bought two since I was so sure I was going to love it! NO REGRETS!

Web belt answer
I like web belts that have the clamping buckle. It’s hard to find a good way to hang them. Then I happened to find this. Is a reasonable price and works great. The downside is you have to balance the belts for it to work correctly. But that’s not a real problem. It works great and answers a real problem and I’m very happy with it!

A Few Things You Need to Know...
This is a nice inexpensive solution for storing a wide variety of different kinds of belts. It accommodates belts of different widths, types, and buckles. I have mostly rachet-style and traditional buckle belts. It's a piece of molded plastic but is substantial enough that it should last a long time. A couple of things you need to know to get the most out of the Tenby Living Belt Rack.1. The belts slide in and out one open side, so allow room in your closet so you have a little room on the open side.2. The belt rack will tip in one direction or the other if the weight is unevenly distributed. I recommend you start putting belts in starting at the center, one side then the other, then continuing from the center out. Putting your most popular belts close to the center will also help keep things balanced. This will help keep the rack balanced when you remove a belt for use each day.

Great product if mount on wall or door
When I first got it, I used the hanger, however, it will tilt in one direction if the weight was uneven. I ended up mounting it to the back of my closet door. Couple of pilot holes is a must, otherwise the plastic will crack. I used a couple of wood screws to secure it to the back of the closet door. Would buy another one. For the price it is great with an installation modification as above.

I'm not sorry I bought one but perhaps next time I'll try something more fancy.
It's fine for holding belts or perhaps even ties but put put your expectations too high. The hanger is made of lightweight plastic and while it does the job I have some doubts concerning its longevity and its construction won't win it any prize for elegance in design. The same lightness makes it prone to swing and tilt when its not balanced by an equal number of belts on its arm. It's still a rack that can be hung in a closet and it will save space and looks better than hanging the belts from the pole and the price is such that even if in a few years it will fail, then it's no great disaster and can be replaced cheaply and easily. I'm not sorry I bought one.
