We are very pleased with this transformer. We have periodic power failures, and when the power is off, we cannot draw water from our well, which has a 220v AC submersible pump. We have a small portable Wen 3250W generator which can provide 115v power. In a power failure, we plug the well pump control into this transformer, and the transformer into the generator, and it works fine; allowing us to draw water as usual. We previously tried this using a 500 Watt transformer but that was too small and its breaker kept tripping. Please note one other review claims the 220v output is DC, not AC; but that is not correct. It is AC.

Just what we needed

Would not recommend for using on solar system with same wattage using a 3000 W power converter. I used it as a step up for an air conditioner lasted 15 minutes burned up my hybrid solar control charger and the unit itself won’t come on product. Seems to be good, but not for what I was trying to use it for apparently But no spec says that I couldn’t use it for what I was doing. Just a suggestion would not use it on a solar panel system with a windmill and a 3000 W 12 V 120 inverter to use as a step up in between two campers the fluctuation and power is what caused it. The drop suddenly and then how quick the response was for the power coming back and inverter went off and came right back on and that’s when it popped so it is an issue with power fluctuation more than it is anything it needs constant AC current which this particular solar set up I have cannot produce that without a spike or drop at the moment, I will try again once I fix it and let you know if it works with a hybrid all in one inverter

Was always afraid that these wouldn’t work but it did. Used it to power a toaster that I bought in Japan and needed a step down. Works well so far so good been using it for a few months now. No issues
