Great Unit - Great Customer Support!!!!!
I have been using this 4 channel wireless meat thermometer for a little over 3 months now. I cook primarily on an offset wood burning BBQ pit. I use some of the probes to monitor internal meat temperature and at least one of the probes to monitor the actually cooking chamber temperature right at the grate level where the meat is.First time out I was instantly in love with this thing - high and low chamber temp alarms set to alert whenever my fire needed attention was fantastic! That meant I didn't have to hover over my pit for countless hours which freed me up to do things around the house and yard while cooking. The second time I cooked a run of BBQ was a delightful repeat of my first experience. The third time however, things started to be a bit different. I noticed that my chamber temp was suddenly reading much higher than it was just a moment before. Upon checking that cooker I found that everything there was fine, but the prove had started reading 20ish degrees hotter than it actually was. To cut down this read I will speed things up here.A second probe, then a third probe failed shortly thereafter. One went way high but still reacted to temperature change while the third failed probe constantly reads over 500° F regardless of what temperature it actually is.I contacted Amazon and they immediately sent me out some replacements. Cooked a couple of times and the replacements began to fail in similar ways. I started to pay closer attention to reviews on Amazon and saw that some others had experienced the same issue - one actually posted the e-mail address for the manufacturer's support. I sent a message outlining the whole situation and Tess at Enzoo couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant to work with. She sent me out new replacements but also let me know that the company was working on a new and improved version of the probes and she promised to send me a complete set of four as soon as they had them in production - about a month away.As promised, 4 new and improved probes arrived at my mailbox. I'm cooking right now as I write this review and so far so good with the new probes. I have confidence that these will hold up considering the company recognized there was an issue and immediately addressed it by developing a hardier probe. If this is not the case I will come back and update my review. If you are reading this and it is several months or more old, know that the new probes are the solution.Overall, I love this instrument and have come to rely on it heavily for my frequent BBQing!

No more guessing!
I have used these many times in my smoker. I like the different probes and how they can be set to different tempweratures. Often times I have used one probe in the smoker just so I know the temp inside the smoker. I no longer guess what the meat and smoker temp is. It works great!

Really happy
Update January 2021I still love this unit but I had to downgrade 1 star. The unit has a bunch of presets for turkey, pork, chicken, and more. These presets are awesome for most unless you like to smoke meat. I was running my smoker and had 1 probe in the smoker, another in the pork shoulder, and a third in some chicken. The oven setting allows you to put whatever high and low setting you want. The pork setting has different preset temp options for Medium, Medium-well, and well done. Here is the problem. The highest temp is the well done setting which is preset at 170. There is no way to change this setting (other comments have confirmed this and there are no instructions in the manual for changing these temps). When I run my smoker I like my pork to finish at 210 as this is when the meat falls apart. The problem is when the probe hits 170 the unit starts to beep. You can press any button to silence it, but that only last for 5 min then it beeps again. There is a way around this problem. There is a option called PROG which you can choose your own high and low temp setting. Here is how to do this:Press the probe button until you get to the probe you want a custom temp set for (probe 1, probe 2, etc.)Once you are on the correct probe, press the meat button until it reads PROGPress the set button - the high temp will start to flashPress the up arrow to set the high temp you wantPress the set button - the low temp will start to flashPress the up or down arrow to adjust (it defaults to 32 and I just leave it there, no need to set a low temp warning)Press the set buttonDone! No you have a custom temp setting so it will stop beeping at you. Oh and if you are wondering, the chicken temp I don't change as 165 is perfect for chicken and no need to go higher. Also, if you found this review helpful, hit the "helpful button below the review so others can see it as well. Happy cooking (or smoking).I had a wireless probe for about 6 years and it finally kicked the bucket. This one had good reviews and it had 4 probes which is a plus (one for the smoker, 2 for different meats, and one spare). It will read all 4 probes at the same time which is awesome. When I got it I plugged in all 4 probes and they were all within about .2 degrees. For thanksgiving I used one in the turkey and one in the oven and it worked great. So far so good. Easy to read display, several preset settings, customizable settings (smoker temp), nice carrying case, good transmission distance. At this price point you can't ask for more. I would definitely buy one for a friend or family if needed.
