This book has been a hit with my 5-year-old who loves drawing. I was worried that the techniques in the book might be too advanced based on the reviews I read, but since it includes opportunities to practice tracing, grid drawing, and shape-based drawing, it can appeal to a wide range of ages.

Got this for my little artist for Christmas. SHES IN LOVE! Have cute little pictures hanging all over our house now.It has step by step directions,but also has the box method or grid method, which is how I learned to draw and really seems to be helpful for her too.

A little lighter on content than I thought it would be but overall a good book

Granddaughters loved these.

My 8 year old is Frozen obsessed and loves to draw, so I thought this would be a great Valentine's gift for her. I love that most of the characters from Frozen 2 are included, even the fire salamander and Water Nokk, but we were disappointed the parents King Agnar and Queen Iduna weren't included. The spiral binding was easy to turn the pages and the book is very colorful and engaging. It teaches you how to draw with the basic shapes method that involves lots of lines/erasing, the grid method of drawing a little in each box, and the tracing method, but they only give you 3 pieces of tracing paper.I am disappointed in this book because she finds the grid and basic shapes methods frustrating. Even as an adult, I think it's too hard. I just got to the point where I told her to try her best to draw it freehand and follow the steps as best she could. I wish they would've included more tracing paper. Overall, a nice book, but definitely not for kids under 9 or 10.

Très bien pour apprendre à dessiner les personnages et pas uniquement pour les enfants. J’ai 31 ans et je l’ai acheté pour moi.J’enlève une étoile parce que j’aurais préféré une couverture souple (plus pratique) comme les autres livres de cette gamme.
