This radio is fantastic. I installed this in my 2012 Road Glide ...
This radio is fantastic. I installed this in my 2012 Road Glide with stock speakers and NO rear speakers, again just the two front standard speakers. I am not a stereo geek, I just want to hear music and I want it loud enough to hear over the bike at hiway speeds. I'm not looking to setup a show bike or be a mobile DJ. ;) The good stuff: Crazy easy to install. The best advice I can give anyone is a little bit of grease along the left and right sides of the rubber gasket makes the installation into the bracket so much easier. The radio has two plugs, the HD multi-pin plug and the antenna. Slide the radio in the bracket, mount with the four bolts used when you removed the old radio, plug the device in and power on. It will probably take you longer to remove the fairing (especially if you have an RG) than it will for you to install the radio. This radio has built in equalizer settings for rock, spoken word and a few others. However if you want to customize you can. The sound from the stock speakers were very good. Again, I'm not a stereo geek. The radio DOES have a clock. The option and settings for the clock are buried down in the menus...but it's there. I really like the fact that the radio is actually the faceplate and can be removed. Once you remove the radio you are left with a 'compartment' that's water proof and perfect for holding your phone or whatever device you use to store your music. Inside the compartment is a USB charging port AND an AUX connection utilizing the standard 3.5 mm cable. This radio gives you the ability to store more FM stations than you will probably ever use, and enough AM stations to satisfy as well. The Bluetooth was crazy easy to connect. Select Bluetooth from the menu, open the Bluetooth settings on your device and select "AV AQ-MP". All my handlebar controls worked like they should and handle bar controls can also be used while in Bluetooth to skip and reverse songs. The bad. I can only see 'bad' things and even these were not enough for me to drop a star. It doesn't have the automatic volume control. I personally don't care about that. There are apps I can download on my phone that will do that for me while I'm listening to music via Bluetooth. The only thing that I feel the company should have done was provide the cover for when you remove the radio. If you remove the radio and it rains, there is nothing to keep the water out of that compartment. You can purchase the cover, but for $299 you would think it would include the cover. There are several other connections in the back of the radio that look easy to hook up, but again I only have the two speakers in the fairing so I just tied those out of the way. Overall, I really like this radio, I like how easy it was to install and use. Bluetooth connection was easy and now I'm good to go down the road jammin' to my tunes.

Good radio
Installation was pretty easy, the most challenging thing is removing the Roadglide fairing. Sound is improved and with the provided connector for a 4 speaker seat up it was easy to hook up the additional 2 speakers that I had in my fairing lowers. The Bluetooth always links up with my phone in a matter of seconds, wish I would have got this unit years ago

Direct fit, great sound, worth the money
These player not only is a direct fit for my Harley but it Rocks. The sound is fantastic through the radio, bluetooth, and MP3. Super easy to install, easy to use. It works great. Worth every dollar spent. It doesn't have the auto volume but it does have a clock. It made the Hogtunes speakers I bought sound even better.

Just buy it!
Purchased this for my 2012 Street glide so I could get rid if my bluetooth adapter. Easy to install, took longer to get the faring off. Definitely plug and play, seamless connection every time, no issues with stock control buttons for volume, etc. Need to read thru directions to find out how to turn off the very annoying beeping when you go up or down on the volume. Radio stations also work well, sound is just as good as prior stock HD unit. The display is bright but you can dim it, the song title will display on the unit, I use Spotify on my phone mount or in my vest, or a Ipod. Ipod fits well connected inside the unit. If your looking to upgrade this is it! Just buy it.

Best radio for a Harley
It is a plug and play it works great on my 2003 road glide. I have added Rockford Fosgate P152 Punch 5.25" 2-Way Coaxial Full Range Speakers. both sound great at 90 mph.

Great replacement for OEM on street glide
Installed in a 2009 street glide. Fit like a glove. Sounds great on factory speakers. Waiting for speaker upgrades to arrive. Bluetooth connected and worked flawless with pixel 8 pro. As some have said the little cubby thing is a little pointless but that wasn't a selling point for me. You could probably throw a small mp3 player or something in there but most large phones aren't going to fit nor do they have headphone jacks. Again wasn't a selling point for me.

Think twice if you appreciate a good sounding radio while you ride!
Wow, What a disappointment! This might be a bit harsh but if I can save one person a huge disappointment so be it. Pros (Very Little) Comes in a nice box and well packaged Cons Faceplate will not attach to the unit without using some major force. So bad I was thinking I would never take it off again because it was such a pain to get back on. The glove box with the aux cord and USB... total joke. barely enough room for a phone let alone one that is plugged in to the aux. The USB is for charging only. Really? what year are we in? Plug and Play install. LOL, not so much if you have rear speakers. They do have a harness so you can do a sub par install of the rear speakers. Only 1 set of RCA inputs. Makes it a bit hard to expand the system. The deal breaker.......Does not come close to putting out the rated output they advertise. Gives out a dirty signal causing all sorts of distortion at riding power level. Sounds like S*&t to say the least. I even tried to hook up a amp but the signal it puts out is to dirty to play loud and clear. The price is way to high for this bare bones unit. Knowing what I do know I would not pay $50 for this radio! What I installed after removing and returning this joke: -Alpine CDE-143BT -Alpine KTP-445U Amp -4- POLK AUDIO DB+ 6.5" Speakers (2 on lowers) -SaddleTramp By Metra Waterproof Install kit for Harley Street Glide -Metra ASWC-1 Steering Wheel Control Integration -Metra Radio Harness This setup Rocks at all levels!

A true plug and play unit
I had one of these units in my road glide for about 5 years. It’s had a ton of miles on it, and got a lot of use. I was on a trip a couple weeks ago and I smoked a pot hole really hard that ended up doing my unit in. So I’d say 5 years of steady use was pretty good in my opinion (and probably would’ve got more if it wasn’t for my stupidity). I couldn’t justify dropping over $1000 on a Rockford unit, so I ordered one of these again. This is the second time I’ve ordered something from Havoc, and my experience has been awesome! I don’t know if they have some deal with Canada Post, but free shipping usually is slow as hell, however not the case with these guys, this took no time to get here. I opened the box to find a note saying that the unit was bench tested to ensure it’s fully operational. I really appreciate that they take the time to make sure that you’re not down extra time with a part that doesn’t work. My only complaint with this deck is that it looks like it came from the early 2000’s and basic as hell. It serves its purpose, and half the price of a Rockford deck. I’m confident if my deck eats it in the warranty time frame, Havoc has me covered.

Baja Calidad
Baja calidad en zona de ensamble con motocicleta. Aleación de aluminio muy ligera. Soportes no aguantan al apretar los tornillos

Excellent Reliable Replacement
Was a great replacement for my 2013 TriGlide after so many failures of reconditioned Harley head units.

Direct Replacement for Harmon Kardon original
I didn't want to spend a lot of money. This is a very basic unit. Radio plus Bluetooth. Seems more weatherproof than the Harley original. Was easy to fit using the plug on the existing loom. Holes lined up exactly. Not the most beautiful radio in the world, but it works & interfaces seamlessly with the handlebar controls.
