Works great on watches!
This glass polish works impressively well on light scratches and blemishes, especially with proper application and patience. A small amount goes a long way, making the jar good value for the price. It noticeably improves clarity and shine on watch crystals, glass screens, and small household items. Ideal for anyone looking to restore glass surfaces without replacing them.

Worked great!
The reviews on this product not working for glass scratches and pitting have no clue what this product is actually for. This is a polishing compound, not a cutting compound. It will not sand off layers of glass to smooth out scratches or pits. I had a film all over a new window glass for my back door that no cleaner could remove. Mixed this up and followed the instructions with a vehicle rotary polisher and now the glass looks good as new.

I used it to take windshield wiper marks off my windshield.
It took much longer and I had to use quite a bit of elbow grease, but it took out the streaks left by the metal end of my windshield wipers. I used a polishing disk that I got with a headlight cleaning kit on a drill with this polish. The marks are now barely visible.

Didn't remove scratches on my watch
I used this glass polish to try and remove some light scratches on a watch crystal. The scratches are very light but visible enough that they bother me. I already tried other methods to try and remove the scratches: baking soda and toothpaste, which did absolutely nothing. Does this powder work? Sort of. I used a dremel rotary tool at 15,000 rpm with a felt attachment. I worked on the scratches for a total of about 40-45 minutes, stopping every few minutes to rinse the watch and check for improvements. The scratches are marginally better, where they are now slightly less noticeable, but they're still there. I don't think they'll ever be completely gone. The reason for my low rating? (1) The product is very overpriced for a mere 50 grams of powder; (2) it's extremely messy and not user-friendly (plan on covering your work surface completely and having to spend a long time cleaning up everything, including yourself, once you're done); (3) the product ultimately doesn't deliver on its claims; (4) it takes way too long to get results that you can barely call an improvement at all and, ultimately, the scratches are still there. Is it worth it? It wasn't for me, but it really depends on what type of scratches you need to remove and how much time and work you're willing to put into doing this. I'll keep looking for something that's more effective and not as messy.

Works to remove haze from electric stove top
I used bar keepers friend to remove a deep scratch on my electric glass stove top. It ended up hazing and looking worse. After research, I ended up buying this product. I don’t even think I applied it properly and it still worked perfectly and removed 100% of the haze. Wish I took before and after to compare but trust it works.

It works BUT you need to be patient and persistent.
You need to polish for a long while for this to work but it WILL eventually reduce and erase the scratches in your glass. I had some significant scuffs and a scratch on my vehicles passenger side window. Nothing was working. Tried the cerium oxide and after about 20 minutes of heavy polishing I was disappointed. BUT I kept at it, increased the speed and pressure. Changing directions and patterns over the damaged area and after a good hour of polishing, the scratches were nearly gone. I continued to polish after that and I’m extremely pleased with the results. Scratches are gone. These were scratches you could feel with a finger nail so they took some work. BE PATIENT! It takes time!

I bought this because of the excellent review from Andy H (see other review). I had a light scratch in my windscreen caused by a little bit of grit being caught under the ice-scraper (like him). It was too small to feel with a fingernail, but it 'lit up' when driving into the sunshine. The worst thing was that it was directly at my eye height so was very distracting and even 'lit up' at night when car headlights caught it. Very annoying. I tried a few things to remove it, including Brasso that someone suggested. The mark was less 'harsh' but not removed. I was pricing up replacement windscreens and had nothing to loose, so I tried this. I removed some of the powder into a separate glass jar and added drops of water using a teaspoon, mixing until it was a consistency of ketchup. I didn't use a drill or polisher machine. Just a clean microfibre cloth and some elbow grease. Used tape on the inside of the windscreen to stay on the scratch and polished by hand. After the first 5 mins I could see a distinct improvement in the scratch. A few more goes and it was gone. It takes time, but you need to keep going and checking that the defect is removed. Tested in full sunlight and at night too and the screen looks great now. Very happy with the result. This is a very fine polishing compound, not a miracle cure you wipe on and wipe off. I suspect that those who are disappointed ion the results are not using the right amount or elbow grease or method. But, now I have a 'glass polish' I can use the remove defects. light scratches and windscreen wiper marks from glass without worrying about damaging stuff. You just need to take your time and it works well...
