Versys 650
Put these on my 2015 Versys. I used the circuit that already exists for the factory option so it is interlocked with the ignition. I used the service manual wiring diagram. I installed them a couple of years ago so I don't remember all of the details. You do need to be mechanically inclined to do it this way. The typical install seems pretty straight forward.I really like these grips. They look great, better than factory. Way cheaper. Have been dead reliable.I have used Oxfords before. The Apollos do not get quite as hot but they have more levels. The high setting on Oxfords can get uncomfortably hot. And the controller definitely looks aftermarket and takes up precious space. After 2 years I would definitely buy The Apollos again.

Nice grips
I installed these on my KTM 390 Adventure. The left grip went on with a little tapping. The right grip needed the throttle tube to be modified for the grip to fit. The KTM throttle tube has radially projecting tabs and ridges that must be removed plus the outer diameter of the tube needs to be reduced. After that is accomplished the grip can be pushed on. The interior of the grip has a rather hard inflexible liner which prevents the grip from compressing as you push it on. I ran the grip wires along with the other handle bar wires fastening with zip ties. The wires from both grips are long enough and terminate in a thin rubber block that contains a fuse and I would guess the circuitry for the grip functions. I attached the block to a bracket near the steering head with zip ties. From there the power wires were wired to a switched accessories circuit. The heat level control button on the left grip is easy to use with your gloved thumb and when shut off and powered back up they return to the previous setting. The grips feel nice even with thin gloves and I am happy with the heat output. They do take a while to warm especially on high but it’s not objectionable. I had Suzuki heated grips before and these perform similarly but look a lot nicer and don’t have the big rotary controller sticking up from the handle bar.

Use the glue
Use: these look great but don’t get super hot. Of all my grips (Oxford hot hands and bike master heated grips) these ones are the slowest to heat up, and even then don’t FEEL as hot when they do hence the 4 stars. The Oxford are definitely quick heating and VERY hot. These still get the job done and look great, almost OEM look.Installation: Use the glue. As with every heated grip install I’ve done the grips are really difficult to put on. I find heating them first makes them a tiny bit bigger so they slide easier. I get a socket wrench the same size as the plastic lining and tap it on with a mallet (just like when you seat ball bearings) But it’s still hard even then. No matter how tight you think the fit is you MUST use the superglue provided. If you don’t they’re gonna slip. Especially when they heat up (and expand).

CB650F, awesome grips but read the rest
Love these grips but read the whole review, there seems to be a lot of confusion reading other reviews.-Installion was a pain because the throttle tube on a CB650F has ridges in it. I had to Dremel sand the throttle tube smooth. Recommend you watch a YouTube video on installing before you decide to do this yourself. Clean all surfaces with rubbing alcohol and use the provided glue. I used the most glue on the throttle side to make sure it doesn't slip after having to modify the throttle tube.-120mm grips are slightly smaller than stock grips on a 2018 CB650F (stock is like 126mm). I went with 120mm because I read you have to cut the 130mm to not interfere on the throttle tube side-The grips are thicker than stock which I like a lot. I have adjustable levers so keep that in mind as well. Thicker grips will change your ergonomics to the levers and I did have to bring my brake lever in one notch. This might be an issue for you if you have stock levers that are not adjustable.-Right grip heats up faster than the left, this is because the left side is in full contact with the bars while the right gets insulated from the bars by the throttle tube. This is just the nature of the beast but I find it still works great because my right hand always got the coldest.-I live in California and the heat is plenty here. I don't ride below 35 degrees normally. 50 degrees I find setting 3 perfect on the freeway going 80ish mph with summer gloves on. Below that I switch to windproof gloves and setting 4-5. If you plan on riding in freezing weather I would recommend heated gloves and some kind of wind protection in front of the grips.-unless you wire in a relay, these grips get hooked straight to the battery. They will not shut off if the bike is off. They do shut off on low battery voltage but this is not designed to keep you from getting stranded, this is designed to keep your battery from getting damaged. If you forgot to shut the grips off and they shut off on low voltage, you will not be able to start your bike and you will need a jump. I am going to add a relay to mine so they cut off when I turn the ignition off.Overall, I love the grips and they have extended my riding season a LOT. Just be fully aware that installation is a pain and the grips aren't miracle workers on some bikes. CB650F for example is a naked bike with little wind protection so you want be taking it into freezing temps just with a set of grips.

Faulty indicator light after purchsing two pairs of grips, no support from Koso
Update: seller extremely responsive and helpful. I expect a resolution soon! The indicator light does not work on one of the grips. After being referred by the seller to Koso (Europe) and being treated to a condescending email from Koso Europe essentially telling me what I fool I was for not going to Koso North America for support, I exchanged numerous emails with Koso North American on starting on February 28. The rep ultimately, made me test my grips with a voltmeter. After confirming the left grip light indicator still doesn't work, they have properly ignored me since March 9. I re-sent an email March 15 to Koso North American general support email address and have heard nothing to date. Pretty poor experience thus far after purchasing $230 worth of grips (2 pairs).
