Rated to tow 21k & can handle 3k of tongue weight. When you lift and inspect this hitch you will not have any doubt that it can easily handle those weight ratings. Be aware that this hitch is heavy - close to 60 pounds. Despite this hitch being quite expensive I feel you get a quality USA made product that covers the jobs of several hitches. You can have all 3 ball sizes (by purchasing the 1-7/8" ball - Part# GH-091) You have 5 different height adjustments (the 4th & 5th by flipping hitch 180°) Includes plug to make this a pintle hook hitch as well. Using this hitch on a 2017 Ram 3500 Diesel truck. Very happy with this purchase.

This is solid, heavy duty, Heavy...if you are looking to have 1 hitch for everything from a small 5x8 trailer, Car hauler, bobcat Trailer. Then this is a good choice. Everyday use (pulling out, putting back in, you will have a workout) ...especially with a multi-purpose Tailgate. You must remove or the tailgate will hit the hitch...(any hitch)Probably overkill for what I needed... I think the factory “Reese style” hitch will fail before this will.

Needed a drop hitch because my truck is y’all and the trailers I pull wouldn’t be level. This hitch is awesome! The only downside is the hitch will drag on the lowest setting backing out of steep driveways.

VERY WELL BUILT. VERY HEAVY. Kind of a pain to take on and off if you don't plan on leaving your hitch on. She's very heavy and big. Still giving it 5 stars though for that same reason. Love the versatility. 2500HD Silverado at stock height.

We had to use the forklift to mount it . It was so tight. Then I found out you have to spend a hundred dollar's for the warranty. Super lame! I would return it but I dont think I can remove it from the truck. I own 3 f-450s for my construction company and planned on purchasing two more but now no way. Having to pay them to stand behind their product is lame

In addition to agreeing with all the other reviewers, what put me over the top was the amazing customer service. I actually ordered a different Gen Y hitch (that was NOT listed under Amazon Prime) and then called them directly to see if I could expedite the shipping...spoke to a very nice gentleman (I believe his name was Tom) and his customer service skills were stellar...it turns out that ordering this model (#623) was the better choice for me, AND it was under Amazon Prime which would provide expedited shipping in time for my needs...win-win!I never thought I would get so excited about a hitch, but this one is phenomenal! In addition, I ordered the Connor towing receiver lock (Connor Towing 1615190- NEW 5/8" Receiver Lock for Class III, IV, V Black Nickel) to protect this investment as well as wire locks to be able to lock the pins for the ball (receiver lock was a bit too short).

The hitch is great I've had it for roughly 3 years the finish on it lasted at maybe 6 months. I never left it in my truck but it still managed to develope surface rust. I'll end up getting it powder coated soon. Oh and it weighs no joke 40 pounds with attachments.

Love this hitch. I can pull my boat with the 2" ball setting it to it's lowest position, and my pintle based military trailers with the same hitch at a higher position. I think someone complained about shipping box issue. All I can say is that they now wrap the hitch in plastic, padding, double boxes to the point that they could throw the box off the loading dock all day and it would arrive spotless to your door. I had to laugh from the standpoint of a hitch is going to get scratched up first time I load a trailer, but appreciate the chance to make those first scratches myself. :)My only wish is that I could turn the actual ball hitch piece sideways and put on a third ball. The hole for the ball exists, but not the hole for the hitch lock.
