Rudolf Steiner
He was an amazing intuit who gained the essence of a deeper understanding that the average human being, is too busy running around in survival mode, to appreciate.Rudolf Steiner though less known was up there with Edgar Cayce and several physics of the time. There appears to be nothing new under the sun, it is just when our opening allows us to accept a thing or being that is not "normally" seen heard or felt. It is all there, always was. And Rudolf has an amazing grasp of the processes of karma. He "saw" the chain of events that leads to the next chain of events.Haven't read about the nutrition but he does go into depth about the vegetables and what kind of vegetarianism is best for what type of eater. He has several types that he directs his advice and comments to.The book itself was in wonderful shape and the delivery timely

FULL OF HIGH QUALITY INFORMATION
You will love this book by Rudolf Steiner if you love high quality information. I find that a lot of books on health and nutrition are incredibly biased and it makes it hard to follow and truly believe what your reading. This is not one of those books. This book is full of great info about healthy choices and foods.

Quick read
Interesting take on nutrition. VERY nonjudgmental and respectful of the reader. Not much new here if you are a Steiner student. If not, then it is a modest intro to his larger works, which certainly flesh out all else related to life and health.

Explore the foundations of nutrition relative to the entire human being!
Finally a comprehensive approach to nutrition to augment the limited mechanistic conjecture now popular with physical science. Today's nutrition science is very shallow and based on a limited mechanistic view of the human being. So many conflicting studies simply verify the frivolity of our limited approach to human health. Until science moves out of mechanistic thinking our advice on nutrition will be grounded in conjecture and nonsense.

Useful Information
At last a book on nutrition that is not tedious or pedantic! Most books on nutrition over complicate matters and generate confusion. I recommend this book to the reader who wants to look at nutrition in a different way. In the process of reading this book, one can gain a much larger vision of what human life can become.

How things like how coffee and tea and many other food choices ...
If you are on the spiritual path this book on Steiners insights on nutrition is a must read. He presents things one would not dream of and helps one to relate to which food choices that can promote your search. It's not just being vegetarian but what kind of vegetarian. How things like how coffee and tea and many other food choices influence your mind. Yes, and even new stuff like raw food.

super interessant
1 Nutrition in the Light of Spiritual Science2 The Penetration of Substance with Spirit3 Nutrition from a Cosmic Perspective4 Nutrition and the Human Body5 Healthy Nutrition and the Quality of Food6 The Processes of Digestion7 The Effect of Plant, Raw Food, Vegetarian and Meat Diets8 Potatoes, Beetroots, Radishes and the Spiritual in Human Beins9 The effects of Proteins, Fats, Carbohydrates and Salts10 The Effects of Alcohol11 The Effects of Nicotine12 Nutrition and Healthil explique d'une façon physio, psycho et spirituel ce qui se passe, pourquoi par exemple c'est mieux de cuire tout ce qui est racine, pour ceux qui sont intéressés par la Sante et veulent savoir ce que Steiner en pense, ça vaut le coup, beaucoup de ses textes sont gratos sur le net a rsarchive org mais pas j'ai pas trouvé ces textes la! je recommande la lecture sur les Abeilles, il y décrit l'importance des fourmis a convertir l'acide oxalique des plantes en acide formique entre autres, ceux d'un point de vue prana...il ne se base que sur ses ressentis/channeling mais intéressantes théories :)))mise-a-jour...après m’être intéressé au courant Hygienist Herbert Shelton et Albert Mosseri que je recommande vivement afin de compléter une vue un peu plus pragmatique et scientifique, ils s'accordent sur certaines choses, besoin de peu de protéines mais pas sur les céréales, ni sur le lait, ni sur la médecine, Steiner ne réfute pas non plus la cuisson apparemment obligatoire pour les légumes racines. Steiner usant possiblement du 'channelling' comme source d'info donc je resterais prudent car en relisant après avoir lu Mosseri, j'arrive a lire plus entre les lignes même s'il reste intéressant mais j’adhère plus au courant hygienist maintenant alors que Steiner reste un peu obscure! même s'il a décrit 100 ans avant la maladie de la vache et explique pourquoiI recommend this book for those interested in Health and what Steiner think about it, you'll pick up surely a few tips and theories. Blends physio/psycho/spiritual reasons together. i would advisd to read Herbet Shelton in parellel as i believe Hygienism to be a more pragmatic and better!
