Time Owned: 3+ YearsItem Usage: Approximately 10 times over the course of two months.--The Good:(The positive qualities of the item)-The belt does fit well, velcro seems strong and the entire belt seems well built.-Even after 3+ years of sitting mostly, it's a good as new.The Bad:(The qualities that may be negatives or unexpected for some)-Not easy to wear under close unless you wear very loose clothing as you can see the outline of the belt. It's also pretty stiff and doesn't conform to the body enough to be unnoticeable.--Final Recommendation: Consider Other Options-Just wearing this belt isn't going to make you lose fat, so if that's your goal, you should probably look elsewhere. If you are buying this for other reasons, it looks and is exactly as described, a big black velcro belt. Bear in mind, unless your clothes are quite loose, it'll be noticeable you're wearing it. Also feels uncomfortable when sitting down.Important Notes: I got this originally for use with a muscle stimulation unit as something to keep pads tight against my stomach. Ok so this was definitely my first time trying this thing. I wore it without working out and I was going on about my day. Just walking around from school to work to home etc...1. I sweat a lot in it. I had to take it off because the sweat was drippping from under my clothes.2. Again I have not worked out in it just yet because I'm feeling lazy. But my waist does appear smaller which is kind of strange and cool at the same time.3. I wear it during the day underneath gym clothes (but I can never convince myself to go to the gym for some reason) anyways, it actually makes you eat less because it's wrapped tightly around your stomach and so you feel full. I'm not sure if this is healthy or not but I've been doing this for 4 days now out of pure laziness4. If it was wider it would've been better. It doesn't make it to my love handles and I kinda wish it did. It would've just been more comfortable. So it's almost perfect.5. The reviews say it falls apart. Mine has not. It doesn't look much different than the first day I had it. Maybe it's because I haven't worked out in it? So keep that in mind when you buy it.

While using it with exercise (and sensible diet) will help improve your outcome as it does help you sweat more but exercise is not necessary if you just want a slimmer waist Why? The neoprene waist trimmer works on the concept of training you to suck in your gutt. Wear the neoprene waist trimmer for just a few hours and you will notice immediate results. The longer you wear it (it takes 21 days to form a habit), the easier it will become to suck in that gutt giving you the look of a slimmer waist. I do not recommend wearing this 24/7 or while you sleep (give your body a chance to adjust to sucking it in by itself)and each day you put it on that you try and pull it just a little tighter.

Having had hernia surgery 20 years or so ago... Decent waist trimmer. I pair it with my body enhancing sweat cream and it definitely increases the body temperature in order to detox through sweating. Good coverage of the midriff section of body. Only cons I have is that the band is now starting to roll up on itself. I wear my band while working out which is about 4-5 times and sometimes two-a-days. I don't do crunches in the band but mainly cardio and weight training so that I would prevent it from rolling on itself. The con is the band is starting to fray. Ive hand washed/gentle cycle washed the band and now its starting to unravel at the edges. No bueno.

I wanted to counter some of the earlier reviews about poor quality of the product. They almost prevented me from buying this item, but I have found them to be wrong. After 1 month of use, I have found it to be very good quality. No problem with material or workmanship. It cleans easily and does make you sweat more during exercise. I don't know if it reduces specific areas of fat around the waist faster than normal, but again, I have no problem with the quality of this item.
