The next morning it's good to go. It lasts about two hours before battery is completely drained. This is fine for me, since two hours at a time is all I can do anyway. I don't recommend a battery operated weedeater if you have large areas. No battery will last long enough. I've tried several, and this is the best. It's easy to install. One push, a click, and it's ready.
