These bulbs are very durable and well constructed. They brightness is perfect without having too much glare. Put it in a small lantern and it worked well.

It didn't fit , at first
It didn't fit , at first. the base had an extra knob of plastic that didn't allow the bulb to fit in. I used a sharp knife to cut it off and it fit fine. It works. good bulb. Just know that all receptacles are not exactly alike.

I recently received the light and put it in my lantern. Unfortunately I was unable to get the lantern to come on. I put the old light back in, and it lit vaguely cause it was burning out. So the problem is not the lantern but the new light. I have requested a return but I await an answer from the sellers.
