Almay Smart Shade Butter Kiss Lipstick, Red-Light/Medium

I was pleasantly surprised with this purchase. This is a lovely lipstick that is more like a light balm in texture. It is somewhat thick in consistency , and covers the lips with smooth, even color. I am wearing the shade, red light- medium in the picture. I think it suits my coloring Very well. I like the option of being able to match colors with your skin tone. I have found this balm to be long lasting and very moisturizing. I plan on ordering more colors. Almay did a very good job with this. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed if you buy this.

Great lip butter lipstick with the right amount of color that lasts several hours and is very nourishing for the lips. It is so flattering, I get better results from this than from expensive products. Absolutely awesome both for day wear or for a night out. I purchased a peachy shade that is great for my age range in my 50s and gives lips a fuller and youthful appearance. I work on a virtual environment all day and it’s perfect for camera-ready days at work. Love it!

I love this lipstick so much. I have these Almay Smart Shade Butter Kiss Lipsticks in several different colors, and they're the only lipsticks that I have ever finished a whole tube and bought the same one again. I couldn't find it at my local store so I had to come to Amazon to find it again! I love the colors--very sheer but just enough color so it's easy to apply on the go, and it lasts pretty long. But my favorite part is how it makes my lips feel. I used to be totally addicted to lip gloss/C.O. Bigelow because my lips always felt so dry, but since using the Almay lipsticks I almost never use gloss at all. These might be the one thing I'd bring if I were stuck on a desert island, I love them that much!

I like the color, it’s subtle so I don’t have to worry about lipliner and it smudging too much. The finish is nice and smooth, I see why they call it lip butter. It feels hydrating. Only con is the smell. It’s not too strong and doesn’t really bother me that much but it kind of smells like crayons to me. I’ve had this issue with all sheer lipsticks but you would think they could find a way to cover it up.

Love the texture and moisture. Stays on well for being so moisturizing. My favorite lipstick and favorite lipstick color of all time. So sad it’s been discontinued. I have fair neutral undertones skin and this color is the perfect rose red color on me! Love it sooooo much💕

Moisturizing, initially has nice coverage but slides off quickly. Wax base not great.

I love Almay products and can't find them anywhere else in the UK. This arrived very quickly and I love it. It doesn't last a long time on the lips as it is more of a glossy butter, but that's how I like it- a subtle sheen of a lovely neutral colour.
