It's better then I had anticipated!
: " This is one of the best books, if not the best book I have found on this subject. The authoress is very informative, insightful, and blunt in her writings. This is not for the faint of heart or those wishing to view life through Rose Colored Glasses. The Sorceress goes into painstaking detail of the projects, events, preparations and expected outcomes of her experiences and lessons learned. I must stress, a lot of my friends on here will not and should not read this book. IT is not for the General Public. This is something you need to be dedicated and understand the pitfalls of what such a practice has in store. That is all spelled out, numerous times by the authoress, so don't say you weren't warned. I would have gave anything to have such a resource when I was younger. This book is a much needed addition to Left Hand Path research books. The fact that it is self-published adds to it's value. It is not the watered down drivel that populates the selves of your local book store, New Age Emporium or Holistic Fair. There is nothing fluffy, warm and fuzzy in here. if you are looking for that, try the "Twilight" series. "

Amazing and powerful
Amazing forbidden knowledge that even an expert knowledgable veteran wiccan preistess and long time store owner was appalled that someone was publishing this knowledge as most serious and powerful magic is passed down to those worthy of such a gift. That made me a million more times interested then before and i was already all in. I've been building my collection ever since . You can feel the magick just holding the book. Ive come to find most authentic dark magick liturature does have an energy about it resinating at the touch

Must-read for any magical practitioner
Fantastic book. This is the first book I have found that contains a complete theory of sorcery. The "will, belief, intent" language that most people use isn't very precise. But in this book, Sorceress Cagliastro lays it all out: how to enter the "static practice" (i.e., Dark Willow mode) and how to use it. This book goes more into the theory of sorcery, whereas the first BSB goes more into the mechanics of blood sorcery and necromancy specifically. If you're only going to get one, I'd start with this one.

Unique and Blunt Approach to Blood Magic
This book is...very blunt. It pulls no.punches in its teachings. It is also very specific, which I can appreciate because of its formulaic approach to ritual and spellcrafting. In this way it is very step by step, with good explanations for each phase. It also works well by itself, however I recommend buying volume two if you wish to absorb a greater breadth of information from the set, which really reads as one book in many ways.

A powerful book, focused on obtaining repeatable results. ...
A powerful book, focused on obtaining repeatable results. I won't go into the contents as other reviewers have done so in depth. BSBVII is akin to a military manual on how to operate an M-72 Light Anti-Tank Weapon written by an expert for teaching field usage to soldiers: assembly, danger avoidance, operation, technical specifications, effects.

Not real sorcery
...I will speak as Sorceress Cagliastro speaks so annoyingly with her ellipses......This book has nothing to do with real sorcery and neither do her other books...if you are looking for powerful sorcery, this is not it...no belief in deity, first of all - doesn't mean there is no deity listening to her and he preposterous ideas...of what magic is supposed to be...no belief in what goes around comes around...well, we've all seen that happen in life, haven't we? Yes, you can work magic without help...and her "blood sorcery" which is NOT an original idea...buck up people and read something else that isn't a bunch of falsified crap....Oooh, magnets...how original! People have been using those for ages in magic...ever hear of lodestones?Yes...vegans cannot be blood sorcerers either...you must be a sexually active carnivore....how dumb is that? (No, I'm not a vegan or even a vegetarian)Lets work with some iron! That hasn't been done either! <cough cough> Hmm...what is the cauldron made of in Palo Mayombe? Cast iron! How old is that religion compared to what this author spews? The cauldron or nganga is more powerful than using some magnets and blood, give me a break...My advice...read the s*** if you want but don't believe it...you can find MUCH better magical material out there...Signed,Occultress, Blood Sorcerer, in the hands of Three Million.

Very enlightening
Sorceress Cagliostro has a very unique methodology for her Craft. I have seen other works on the Art of Blood Magick before, but her approach is fresh and deviod of much of the elaborateness of tradional Magickal theory. I find her work meaningful and useful for any occultists who utilize Blood Magick with any seriousness.

I give the book 4 stars because I appreciate Cagliastro's honesty and I really like her sense of humor from what I've read
I skimmed through this book over the 2 days I had it and I do have to admit that it IS a very intriguing read. Sadly, I had to return it because I know I won't be able to perform any of the rituals without my family noticing since I still live at home and it would look suspicious if I had vials of my blood circled around my bed. I'm also not keen on the idea of cutting myself in certain areas, especially if I'm not sure if I can steer clear of major blood vessels so I'd rather not risk it. Still, I give the book 4 stars because I appreciate Cagliastro's honesty and I really like her sense of humor from what I've read. Perhaps someday, when I have a bit more privacy in my living situation and more courage, I may buy this book again and attempt the rituals.
