Works as described
Fresh tube. Opened and used a big king bead. It’s butyl rubber basically. Messy as hell. It never fully tacks off. That’s just how this stuff is. Gets every where if you are not careful.

Very hard to work with

Butyl, yes, butyl.
If you needed butyl sealant, and you couldn't find it, now you have. I used this to re-seal the windshield on my 1982 Mercedes-Benz 300SD, which comes with a butyl (NOT urethane!) sealant from the factory, which is often incorrectly applied. Carefully remove the trim, scrape off the dirty parts and replace it with some of this, then pop the trim back on and bob's your uncle. If you want to use the 3M stuff at the local auto parts store, you're going to need to remove ALL of the original Butyl. Make sure your original sealant is butyl before using this without removing it all, or you're gonna have a bad time.
