Q: Are these Latex free?

While we cannot give you specific advice related to your allergy, Invista, the manufacturer of Lycra Spandex represents that Lycra branded spandex does not contain latex rubber. Q: are these loose in the toebox?. i had to have my toenail taken off so it cant be tight

I wouldn't say it's tight but it is a very well fitting sock. I think you could stretch it out prior to putting it on and it would be fine. These socks are really soft and cushioning.

Q: Do the heels of these socks have extra cushioning on the bottom?

I think the entire sock feels cushioned. They are great, very comfortable socks. Their my favorites and my adult daughter's favorites as well.
