The controller to end all controllers. I have gone through FIVE Microsoft poop elites which are Literally designed to break at the drop of a hat and I had had Enough. But being a corporate shill, I ALMOST found myself preparing to Waste 200$ on the series 2 in the hope they corrected their mistakes. Although the price Alone was Big Mistake number one. The BIGGEST flaw in the Microsoft controller is it's Cheap design. For Steel paddles and sticks it is in fact NOT Sturdy at all. And WILL Break on contact with the floor if you accidentally drop it just Once. Mainly, the absolutely Vital CHARGING PORT. They Still to this Day Refuse to Upgrade their port for the controllers charging cable to snuggly go IN. Rather it is Exposed and defenseless at All times just Waiting to get BENT. And if you think you can just buy another cable guess again. Because if even slightly damaged the port will No longer work. Rending the Xbox elite UNchargable and useless unless you stick to batteries via a independent recharging kit. Extra money for extra gear that was otherwise totally unnecessary. With the elite 2. That MAJOR Flaw has been replaced with a straight forward controller death sentence. Given it now runs on its own Built in ion battery meaning it CANNOT be swapped out. Hence. When the charging port continues to snap it's charging cable. . . It is OVER. ALAS. Power A Should be the answer to All of your prayers including Mine especially. WIRED Superiority iS and always will BE. The ONLY Way to go. Zero response time latency used you can ONLY get with a wireless controller. A Heavy duty Hefty and BEAUTIFUL Frame that is extremely smooth and satisfying to touch. And most IMPORTANTLY. A Safety net "turtle neck" port to securely protect it's charging cable from ANY Mishaps. God I LOVE this TRUE ELITE CONTROLLER. ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS. AND YOU ALL NEED TO BUY ONE AND OPT OUT OF MICROSOFTS OVERPRICED ELITE WANNABE PRODUCT. Power A is the True Elite and vastly Superior in design by Default. I only regret that I did not search a Little Further out of my immediate impulse buy when I saw this magnificent creation on Amazon to discover only After my one click buy. That it came in MORE sexy colors. And I Really want that white and copper. And so I shall have it. For I love this Elite SO much that I am going to buy a 2nd one and have literally TWO Elites for the price of ONE of micros flimsy abominations. Truly. Buying this product is a no brainier for any True elite gamer such as myself. For you would have much of a brain to pay DOUBLE for an inferior product. Power A 1 Microsoft 0 GET THIS. * Even the the paddles are perfected in comparison to the inferior series 2. Make no mistake. They look Similar in design but they are NOT the same. Power pros elite paddles canNOT be accidentally pushed. They are Far more, perhaps I could say, "stiffer" and rugged compared to Xbox's. Which is TOO sensitive to even Look at without triggering a random button by mistake which has costed me lives far too many times. I Appreciate that powers pads require a firm push to set off actions. Not Too firm. But Just Right.

Alright, lets get comprehensive. I am not a hardcore gamer, I don't play fps games on controller generally, so Racing Games and RPG's mainly. It has been used with little regard for delicacy (drops hard around once a month). I use it around 10 hrs a week sometimes more sometimes less. Design/ergonomics -This is by far my favorite controller I have ever used, The Xbox Elite controller D-Pad is better, but I enjoy how the paddles feel, and the general feel of the controller more. -The sticks are comfortable and have 2 options, convex and concave thumbers. -the faceplate is magnetized and it pops off when dropped but has suffered no ill effects as far as I can tell. -It is heavy, which I really like, not heavy enough to cause fatigue, but feels premium. Useability/durability/Condition -I realized that the paddle mechanism was going to be an issue when I bought the controller, Therefore I decided to stretch the use by using the top set first, then moving to the bottom set as I really just wanted them to move the bumpers down to my middle fingers. -To be honest, they ended up having much more longevity than I thought they would, The plastic did start to degrade fairly quickly (6 mo) but they did not loose reliable functionality until well into 2022, so 1-2 years. -I am now on the second set of bumpers and I know how to install and use the mechanism more (which I def damaged slightly on the first set not knowing how to install them when they popped off, so take the time to figure out how to install them well early on). -All buttons are perfect, no sticky ones, no stick drift (which is incredible) Presentation -The box was normal, It comes with a very nice carrying case that I will probably continue to use even If I get a different controller. -The cable is braided, and the controller male end is proprietary so you will have trouble plugging in a different cable if the oem one gets damaged, I do believe you could hack something together in a pinch as it is just micro usb. Its a pretty controller, and I have had 3 good years and probably more as everything is still perfect. I would definitely recommend this controller as an upgrade for someone that is running through20-30 dollar controllers. I have beaten every fromsoft game with this controller, skate 1-3 forza horizons riders republic crew motorcraft tons of other assorted rougelites (dead cells, hades, ect.) I have not banged this controller on purpose or gotten mad and threw it so temper expectations if you are really hard on them :D Thanks for reading.

I absolutely loved the prior version of the Fusion Pro and was devastated when it was discontinued without a replacement. I spent even more to obtain some of the last remaining controllers available online because I loved that controller so much. However, it had its shortcominings, mainly with R1 and L1 wearing out and becoming unresponsive. Basically, the plastic paddle that extends from the button to engage the internal switch would deform over time, and would cause you to press the button harder in order to get a response. I'm not detecting that on this controller at all. L1 and R1 feel much more solid, but also sharper response. Triggers feel even better. You can tune the feel of your analogs with the 2 sets of friction rings that are included (I prefer the low friction green) which on their own are buttery and smooth. The hats shrunk to similar size as standard XB1, and while I preferred larger hats of the prior version, I am finding the overall smoothness of these sticks reduce the need for larger hats. D-pad is good, but unfortunately is not nearly as good as the last version. Mushier feel as they went with button pads/contacts instead of discrete switches. My only real complaint. Button feel is good overall. Controller has some weight to it, but I like how solid it feels. Has a lovely soft-touch faceplate with a superb rubberized grip that really makes the controller feel locked in your hands while also making it feel high quality (which it has in looks already). Also great for someone like me who gets sweaty palms. The bottom buttons are extremely easy to setup and map. And you are able to remove all but the ones you want to use. Personally, 4 was too many for my fat fingers so I removed 2 of them. Lastly, the microUSB locks SOLIDLY in the controller and more importantly protects the port in the event of a drop. XB1 controllers lack this feature and it is very easy for a cable to become loose, causing the controller to disconnect and reconnect. Which is really bad in Sekiro boss fights. Buy this controller. I'm ecstatic that they brought back the Pro line. Outstanding quality at a good value.

I purchased this controller for use on my PC, have been using it daily for about 6 months. Pros: Feels very solid, without being too heavy. Nice action on the buttons/triggers. Audio passthrough is fine, although I don't use it very often. Surface texture is grippy/not sticky. The rear paddles are easy to program, and are well placed so that you don't accidently hit them. They do sometimes trigger if you place the controller on a non-flat surface, such as your leg, or a cushion. Depending on your playstyle and what games you are playing the rear paddles can allow for some additional button combos (such as holding jump while rotating the camera with a stick) which aren't normally possible. Overall it's a very solid set up and comfortable to hold for extended play sessions. Cons: Rear triggers are somewhat loosely attached (they are removeable), and sometimes fall off during use. I consistently have trouble with a left+right shoulder trigger combo, something about how the triggers sit makes it easy to miss a precise use of this combo in a way I haven't experienced with other controllers. No deal-breakers, and for the price, a good choice. Service/Warranty: After 6 months of play, the controller began buzzing very loudly when rumble/feedback was triggered, to the point it became unusable. PowerA initially offered to replace the controller once they verified my purchase, but then replied that the unit was out of stock and they couldn't give me a firm date on when another would be available. That was several weeks ago, and I've heard nothing since. Buyer beware.

UPDATE: it’s been about a month, no issues. Works just as it should. I did find out that the trigger stops affect games where how much you pull the trigger changes the effect. For instance, you’re playing a racing game, the more you pull the trigger, the more gas you rev. The triggerstops affect this outcome. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I game a lot, every day to be exact. I bought this for the paddles, I was using a StrikePack before on Xbox for the extra buttons but it's not compatible with PC. I've spent a day with it so far as I type this and do plan on reviewing it further with updates. At this moment, these are the pros/cons: Pros -Heavy sturdy feel -Rubber texture feels nice -Swappable thumbsticks -Adjustable triggerstops -Remappable Paddles Cons -D pad is pretty stiff, if you play a D-pad dependent game, probably won't be too fun -Triggers still travel quite a distance with triggerstops set to the shortest -Paddles are easily pressed upon first use, I've adapted within an hour of playing -Paddles can dangle easily, you would do this to remove them, I applied some tape to keep them in Overall, a very decent controller, only time will tell, but for now I am satisfied

This is a short term review from a long time Elite, and Elite Series 2 user. I've been using this for about a week. I may come back and update after 6 months or so if I feel I have something to add. I use xbox controllers exclusively to play Rocket League on a PC, and I'm quite rough on them. I usually log about 15-20 hours a week in gametime with the controller. I've been using either the xbox Elite, or Elite Series 2 for about 2 years. I've owned 2 Elite and 1 Elite Series 2 controllers, and the reason I'm trying something else is because they keep breaking. I've replaced the shoulder buttons on the Elite several times, and on the first one I owned, I ended up breaking a small plastic tab on the frame the last time I broke the shoulder button, which is why I've owned 2 Elite controllers. This was a common issue on the Elite controller. I also had the grip coming off issue on both of them. I purchased an Elite Series 2 last year, hoping that it would be more robust, but ended up breaking the shoulder button switch, not the plastic button, but the actual switch on the inside of the controller. This happened several weeks ago, and I haven't had a chance to solder a new one in yet. While the Elites are fantastic controllers, I'm pretty disappointed in the durability, so I'm trying something else. Even if this controller dies after 6 months, it will be a far better value than the Elites are. The build quality on the PowerA Fusion seems to be very good. The in hand feel is as good, if not better, than the Elite. I couldn't tell a difference in the A/B/X/Y buttons, the thumbsticks, or the triggers (very important on the thumbsticks). The d-pad feels very different, but I think better. The shoulders feel different, but not better or worse. The paddles feel very different and I think significantly worse, although it doesn't affect my play. They feel a little squishy, and are fairly loose with lots of side to side play in them. I only use the 2 paddles that are closer to the top of the controller, so I don't have an opinion on the 2 lower paddles. Overall I have a favorable impression of the feel of this controller coming from the Elite. I moved to using this controller from the Elite (as my Elite Series 2 was broken). The adjustment period for this controller was only a couple of hours before I was feeling as comfortable with it as I was with the Elite. There was less adjustment period than there was moving between the Elite, and the Elite Series 2, so this was an unexpected pleasant surprise. This controller doesn't offer everything the Eilte controllers offer, but the things its missing (profiles, more button customization, wireless, a few other odds and ends) are not important to me. If you don't find yourself needing one of the features the PowerA Fusion is missing, at half the price, I would highly recommend it over the Elite Series 2. Now we just have to see how it holds up over time.

Joy stick review First off I have to admit that I dislike cords of ANY type (Yes, I know they are absolutely necessary), doesn’t mean I like them. Second I care more about function AND reliability than anything else, in everything I use. But who doesn’t like things to look great, right? Third, when I find a product that does the job so well (better than – in this case), for less than half the competitive equal, I have to tell you about it. (even at the risk of increasing its’ popularity and price). This is just such an item. I have wanted to get the MS Elite controller since it came out, then the Elite V2. Both have substantial issues with quality and reliability and the latter lacks replaceable batteries (a sure sign of designed obsolescence issues) and a BIG turn off for me. Then there is the outrageous price tag. Enough about my issues with that. This controller seems to have addressed all of them (minus the cord thing) so I thought it was time to “car-pai do ‘em” Glad I did. Answers all my needs about reliability and function. Easy to set it up with out a software interface and do it on the fly if you want. Press 1 button to tell it you want to program a switches function. Press the button you want to change from and then the button you want to change to. Done. I use (of course) wireless headsets, so I did not need to update the software, but did anyway and ran into a very slight issue, which I fixed as noted next. While installing the software, my screens resolution was miss-matched to the instructions and I missed the part of moving both R & L triggers three times after rotating the joysticks three times each. Simple to fix after I watched a video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5WJbSN0NIzY (2 Thumbs up!) Re ran the install and calibration and POOF it works like it should. I love it when that happens! Then – as always for me on a new device, I ran the windows calibration for controllers (you should too – if you like stable functions) and have included the simple How To here: (for Win10 users) Go to the Start button , type joy.cpl in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER. Then Select the Properties button that will put you into the calibration window. You will need to move all the fire/ throttle - D pad and joysticks - then (don't forget) to hit the apply button to save it. You are now done, go have some fun! As always, I am not sponsored by anyone, I report only on things I buy and use for my own wants and needs, with my own money. This controller is just what I needed and wanted for so long. I am older and my hands don’t have the flex-ability to do three things at once (steer, hold L shoulder button and press X at the same time) with this I moved the L2 to one paddle and the X button to another, without changing the original button’s function. And I can now move and shoot without taking my thumbs off the sticks. Trust me on this one – it matters. It will make it so I can become a better player after rewiring my muscle memory a little. As if this wasn't long enough already... I have to mention the wonderful way it was packaged. I am over 60 and I have never received a better packaged anything. From the flexible hard sided carrier that holds the controller and parts to the well engineered retail box that includes a vacuumed formed cradle - to the "Made To Fit" Over Pack shipping box with built-in bumpers, just OMG! this thing is just so well done - it speaks volumes about the manufactures intent. Very happy I bought this controller. I was hesitant at first but I did some research and the reviews were all good. My last elite controller finally crapped out and I decided I didn't want to drop nearly $200 for the gen 2 elite controller so I looked for an alternative. I am happy to report that this controller is, in my opinion, superior the gen 1 elite controller. The face buttons are solid with good tactile feedback. The bumpers feel great with a satisfying "click" that accompanies each press. The control sticks are tuned pretty well and snap back to center with no drift. The D-pad is just average but it gets the job done in most games. Side note, I highly recommend using a dedicated "fight pad" if you play a lot of fighting games anyway. The triggers are slightly above average and have smooth travel and there is a switch to change the length of travel however not all game are going to be compatible with the shorter travel settings. The back paddles feel much better than the gen 1 elite controller and have better tactile feed back when using them. Overall the controller has a slightly different shape than the gen 1 elite but this actually a good thing since you are able to get a better more natural grip on this controller when compared to the gen 1 elite. This controller is not wireless however that is not a problem for me and the cord is very well designed. The cord is very heavy gauge and has tabs that lock it into place when you plug into the controller so its very secure and it has a break away adapter near where you plug into your xbox just in case someone trips on it. Lastly the face plate is removable so you can swap the control sticks however they only send one tall dome stick and one tall recessed stick. I have emailed the manufacturer to see if I can get more of the taller sticks since I prefer both sides to be at the same height when I swap them. Pros: A very well built lower cost alternative to the elite controllers. Buttons and sticks all feel great with solid response and a good tactile feedback. More comfortable to hold when compared to the Gen 1 elite. Extremely well designed heavy duty cord. Cons: The sticks can be changed but they only send one tall dome stick and one tall recessed stick. It should have two of each. D-pad is just average so if you play a lot of fighters then it won't wow you. I would recommend a dedicated a fight pad for those types of games anyway. No wireless but the cord is well designed and has a break away just in case someone trips on the cord.

This was exactly what I needed, a good comfy controller with some mappable back paddles. Works like a champ on my PC. My only issue is that I sometimes bump the paddles the wrong way and they fall off the back, I'm pretty sure my monkey brain can figure out the correct way to hold it to prevent this :)

Rispetto ai pad Microsoft l'ergonomia è praticamente ugualei il feed che si ha è quello di avere un pad originale in mano, si differenzia solo per i tasti LB e RB che hanno una forma leggermente diversa, diciamo più ampia ma che non da fastidio, è più pesante per cui la sensazione di robustezza è maggiore e onestamente devo dire che è anche leggermente più preciso Lo considero un ottimo acquisto ed una più che valida alternativa al pad elite di Microsoft visto anche il costo. Non ho trovato difetti....anzi sono molto soddisfatto, se proprio vogliamo trovare il pelo nell'uovo il pad va aggiornato dal sito ufficiale e successivamente calibrato, queste operazioni le ho trovate un po'troppo elaborate. Come ho scritto sopra c'è una sensazione di robustezza maggiore rispetto agli originali ma questo lo confermerà solo il tempo....nel caso di problemi aggiornerò la recensione tempestivamente. Edit : Bene...dopo 6 mesi di utilizzo confermo la qualità del prodotto.... perfettamente funzionante.... per chi dice che non funziona il microfono non saprei cosa dirgli perché io non ho nessun problema, gli amici mi sentono benissimo , probabilmente dipende dallle cuffie scadenti che usano queste persone che hanno il problema

About the conroller: and comparison to elite series 2 Big fan of this controller. Prefer the paddle placement than the elite controller. I have quite small hands, even for a female so my opinion might be a bit different to people with big hands. To someone trying out a paddlesd controller for the first time, this controller is great, it's comftable and cheap compared to most. The paddles if you knock them just move awkwardly so then you have to put it back into place, the elite just falls off and if you ain't paying attention could disappear, easier to put back on but easier to fall off. You don't have to worry about charging it as it's a wired controller with a whopping length lead. Easy to program the buttons to the paddles, doesn't have different button layouts like the elite, but is easy enough to program the paddles when changing game THIS controller specifically where i bought from: The A button chipped the first month of having it, not badly but isn't smooth when brushing across it to get to B, might be because I have nails which made it chip.
