Best I've found!
For many years I have searched for a product that took the yellow/orange out of the blonde weave in my hair and now the blonde color applied to my graying hair without finding a good one. Malibu Blonde is the best I've ever found - by far! My hair finally feels soft and manageable - not dry and brittle like most gray hair that has been colored. I can't believe the difference with just one shampoo. I also have been using Malibu restructuring conditioner. I like the way these two products work together. They're not too heavy for my baby fine hair. What's not to like? The supplier does not package it properly for shipping. I couldn't believe it arrived in a simple shipping bag. The shampoo was leaking maybe a tablespoon full, but it was contained to an internal plastic bag. My plastic shampoo bottle could easily have been crushed and it would have been a total mess and a $16. waste.

Another hit from Malibu C!
I have been a fan of the Malibu C line since it saved my hair from the chlorinated water in the city I moved too. Having since gone from my natural brown to dark blonde, I was interested in a shampoo that would clarify gently, getting all the chlorine and junk off, and keep my blonde highlights bright. I tried Shimmer Lights, (the purple shampoo) which worked like a dream, but had such a strong odor I couldn't take it anymore-it would cling to my hair all day after using it, no matter how well I rinsed, and I decided to find something else that didn't smell so strong. This appears to be a newer product-I didn't even know it existed-and it is just as good as the other Malibu C shampoos I have tried. The fragrance isn't bad, and doesn't cling to the hair after washing, and it rinses clean, without greasy roots-I can shampoo every other day with this, and that's coming from someone with very oily roots. It also does not require as much rinsing as the Shimmer Lights-that has a tendency to give the hair a purple cast if it isn't rinsed out VERY thoroughly, and with this shampoo, you don't have to worry about that. Just bright, fresh-looking highlights! The only little, little quibble I have is that it is quite drying, especially in the wintertime, and my hair tended to get very staticky unless I used a conditioner. Otherwise, it's a great product, and I will buy it again!

No More Yellow Hair!
For years I spent boku $$$$ on platinum highlights to my naturally blonde hair every other month, only to have them fade to dingy yellow within 2 weeks. After being told by my stylist for years that my hair "just had too much red in it to stay blonde," I finally decided it was time to find a professional (aka super expensive) BLONDE colorist. The FIRST thing she asked me when I told her my hair always turned yellow was: what kind of water do you have, well or city? When I told her I had city water, her response was: "It's not your hair, it's your water." After doing some research, I found out that the water in my city is high in minerals and very hard, so I immediately bought a shower head water filter and purchased this shampoo, the blondes treatment, and the mineral treatment from Malibu Blondes. Three months later I am THRILLED to say that those highlights I paid that expensive colorist tons of money for are still there, still platinum, and still looking super natural exactly like I wanted! I haven't had to go back to the colorist since, they have stayed so "true!" I am SO HAPPY to have found out what was causing my hair to turn yellow and to have found Malibu Blondes products! If the choice is buying MB products or spending $200 every two months for highlights that go bad right away, I gladly choose these!!

Blue/Purple Shampoo
I have both well water and blonde/gray/color-treated hair. I decided to order both Malibu's Well Water and their Blonde shampoo. Simplest comparison: this blonde shampoo is blue, but well water shampoo is not.I've tried two other brands' blue/purple shampoos from the drug store and this Malibu Blonde has more pigment. After a few bottles of drug store shampoos, I turned to Malibu again even though it's expensive. I used Malibu's well water shampoo in the past which definitely helps limit the iron build up. I've only used Malibu's blonde shampoo once since it arrived, and I like the feel of my hair again after just one use.

Great product/horrible packing & shipping!
Product is good and does what it's supposed to; however, the seller did not properly wrap the bottle and the contents spilled and was a mess upon receipt. At least wrap the spout with some heavy duty packing tape so the liquid doesn't go everywhere.

Product is great, bottle leaks
The way the bottle is formed, it always leaks a lot either if they send by air or if keep the bottle upside down. The product is intensly purple so your white tub may get stained. And you you may lose some of the product in the shipping container. The product itself is great, works well for the hard water in Amsterdam. If you have dyed blond hair you may not use the typical hard water shampoo, but this one is safe.

Drying
I bought this because I moved and now have well water. This was supposed to help but didn't. I'm not sure if it was the shampoo or my water, though I have found another brand that does. I wish you could buy smaller amounts to try. It made my hair too dry, I wouldn't buy again.
