Fantastic Coffee
This was a surprise. Normally I mix my Hazelnut coffee in equal parts with regular coffee so the hazelnut flavor is not so strong.... Enter 8 Oโclock HazelNOT coffee. I donโt have to use any regular coffee at all. The flavor is so subtle that I can barely smell the hazelnut right after grinding. I can tell there is a Hazelnut tinge to the taste, but if youโr not looking for it you might miss it completely. You might also miss the coffee taste too. It has a taste, Iโm just not sure what it is. Itโs not bitter or burnt, it just isnโt. I like it so much that I canโt wait to order it again. Too bad is doesnโt come in even bigger sizes. 33 oz is just not big enough. Update: I'm on my 4th bag.

My wife prefers a flavored bean and it is difficult to find a good, inexpensive
This is a delicious whole bean coffee that I was unable to find in my grocery store. My wife prefers a flavored bean and it is difficult to find a good, inexpensive, one in the store. I went searching for one on Amazon because I buy so much else on here so I figured I would try it out. Upon opening of the bag I was greeted with a delicious aroma that almost made me grab a handful of the beans and start eating them. The brewed cup was amazing. I use a basic black & decker grinder for 10 seconds to get a nice small ground that works well in my coffee maker. The flavor if the hazelnut is good without being over powering. I enjoyed this cup black and very much enjoyed it. This is a medium roast that strikes a nice flavor balance without being too strong but still dark enough to let you know you were drinking coffee. Will buy again and may explore other flavors as a result of the positive results with this one.

Good but not as good as from the popular local drive-thru chain's
Was good but has a slight bitterness I couldn't get around no matter how I varied creamer content, grounds amount, or grinding size

Great flavor
My wife and I love this coffee. Prior to buying Eight o'clock brand of coffee we for many years bought a brand of coffee called Green Mountain in whole bean form and we grind the beans just prior to brewing for the freshest coffee flavor. We stopped buying Green Mountain brand when we found out that Green Mountain company was no longer selling whole beans coffee beans in a bag anymore so we decided we no longer were going to buy Green Mountain coffee and we would have to find a new coffee brand. After buying / testing about 6 other brands of coffee (some brands were much more expensive than this Eight o'clock brand) we found the flavor in Eight O'clock coffee was as good as Green Mountain brand and have been buying many bags of this Eight O'clock coffee every since. I would definitely buy this Eight O'clock whole bean coffee again and I would recommend it to a family member or friend.

Hazlenut is The BEST Eight O'Clock Flavor
I think their original and Colombian have almost no taste at all and aren't as fresh... yet it is the artificially flavored hazelnut which always does it for me. I get the 33 ounce bags and it's my go-to cup of Joe, always tasty and smooth with robust flavor. Then I dabble in more "exotic" flavors and blends from other brands while this remains the anchor of my world of caffeine. Beans grind extremely well in my Burr blade grinder and never clog. Really have nothing bad to say about this. And for THIRTEEN BUCKS ($13!!!!) it is a tremendous steal. 13 bucks for 33 ounces of delicious hazelnut (basically my monthly supply), or spend 22 bucks at the local roasters for only 12 ounces??? The surplus value is insane :-)

Very smooth
I have always bought my beans at my favourite coffee store, but with the miserable lockdown, I am now forced to purchase a lot of things online. After trying several different brands, I finally came across this one and am totally happy with it. It has a delicious aroma that permeates the whole kitchen, survives the grinder, and renders a bold, smooth taste which is exactly how we like it.

Eight O'Clock Coffee, Hazelnut Whole Bean, 33-Ounce Bag
Having retired on Maui Hawaii, my wife and me enjoyed the Hawaiian Coffee Blends containing Hazelnut flavoring sold by Costco, on Maui. That Blend and other's from the Islands after many weeks of drinking always began to overwhelm our desire of Hazelnut flavoring. o over come this we began mixing our old well excepted UBand Coffee in equal parts to the hazelnut finding a great tasting coffee that always remained our favorite and our stateside visitors too. Our older years are now being enjoyed on the central Oregon Coast and finding the Hawaiian Hazelnut Blend Coffee costing from $20 to $30 per pound, which we consider excessive. Then someone suggested checking our Amazon, which we did with complete satisfaction acquiring the 3 3 oz Whole Bean Eight O'Clock Hazelnut Coffee for less than $15.00 for 2 pounds. Four heaping Tablespoons full of beans into the top of out common coffee bean grinder and grind for about 10-12seconds produces a awesome 12 cup pot of Hazelnut hint of great coffee. A match of our efforts on Maui years ago.
