Great sounding inexpensive cab.
I wanted a 2×12 for my solid state Marshall. I use My 4 x 12 for my big DSL 100H tube amp. This cab is light weight and sounds good. I put one V30 and one creamback in it. Now I can use either amp and can use this cab and save my back from being blown out. The cab has felt / carpet looking material on it not tolex. That's probably a good thing probably will be tougher to rip. The wood is cheap you can tell by screwing into it. Just keep that in mind if you plan on putting coasters on it. The cab however does sound good and cost a third of what some of what some cost. If your expecting top notch fit and Finnish then pay more for something else. If you want a decent 2x12 that isn't breaking the bank then this will be perfect for you.

very easy to install your own 12" speakers
This cabinet is very solidly built and it's easy to install your own 12" speakers. I had a couple of 12" speakers that I had picked up very inexpensively, and I wanted to install them myself. This cabinet was easy to work with, because the wiring is straightforward. The cabinet comes pre-wired with spade connectors, so you just slide them onto the speaker tabs, no soldering required. The connectors give a nice tight connection. The only thing you need to provide is eight small wood screws to secure the speakers in the cabinet, four for each driver. I recommend not drilling the holes, since the cabinet is made from particle board and you can manually drive the screws without drilling holes first.

Solid, not spectacular
Just finished assembling and testing. I put a pair of eminence delta lite II 2512s. The cab sounds very good with only a couple of issues.- The cab is rough cut with some sloppy edges.- carpeting coverage is good, but also a bit sloppy.- no mounting screws or pre drilled holes. Easy to solve, but inconvenient.- don't love the grille. It mounts well, but I would prefer it be removable without taking out a dozen screws.- the seismic nameplate is glued rather screwed on which means I can't really take it off without messing up the grille.- I would like rubber feet on one side to allow it to stand level on the smaller edge. Easy to add.In the end it sounds awesome and is really solid once the speakers are mounted - which is really what matters. The rough edges can't be seen at all once assembled. Good cab. I would buy again.

Sturdy and solid!
This cab exceeded my expectations. Feels solid, speaker installation was real easy. Not too compressed, not open sound, just perfect balance for what I needed.

Cheap wood, shyte sound coloring
Tried to upgrade from my awesome sounding V30 1x12. I loaded 2 more V30s into this. The screws stripped the cheap-ass wood with very little effort, so had to be very ginger when tightening. Both cabs sounded identical from the front, so played shows with it. Playing it live, it never sounded right. I did sound tests with the smaller cab facing away, and this thing totally colored my tone unpleasantly. Pulled one of the V30s into another 1x12, and now my tone sounds great again.

Solid build. Great value.
You really can't beat the bang for buck value on this cabinet. It's solidly built and relatively easy to install your speakers. I had two Orange 12" speakers lying around after a speaker upgrade so I decided to use them as extension speakers. Once you install speakers this unit can get very heavy. I am thinking of getting caster wheels for it. The handles could be better as they are not very comfortable for lifting and carrying. As many reviewers note, a bag of screws would have been a nice addition for convenient speaker installation. I understand some speakers use clamps, but most speakers are just screw-ins these days. Also the default wiring for this is cabinet is set up for Parallel wiring. You will need to make some adjustments if you are wiring your speakers in Series. Again, an extra connection wire would have also been a nice inclusion for people who wanted to do Series wiring. Overall though, I highly recommend the Seismic Audio if you're on a budget. Also received it really quick so that's a plus if you have a gig or rehearsal coming up.

One of the best choices I made
Wow. I needed to quiet down my Marshall TSL 100, 1960A/B full stack. I knew a quarter stack would do the trick. I thought about shelling out $700 for a Marshall 1936 cab, but I wanted something different. I wanted to try Celestion Vintage 30's. I bought 2 eight ohm Vintage 30's from Sweetwater and wired them in series for a 16 ohm quarter stack. One of the best choices I made. This is a great product. It may be cheap, but if you know what you are doing this empty cab will do the trick. No instructions are included, but the wiring is straight forward. If you know how you want your cab set up.

Decent box. A little pricey for an empty but solid. No speaker mounting screws.
Required a little sanding around each speaker hole on the inside. Just some hanging wood fibers. No biggie. Came wired for parallel so had to chop and solder to run in series. Again no biggie. Just used the two chopped ends to make a jumper between the two speakers. No speaker mounting screws so be prepared. Installed an Eminence Governor and Swamp Thang 8 ohms each for a 16 ohm total at 225W. Solid 2 x 12 cabinet with great super tight punchy bass and no rattles or vibrations. Mids and highs sing. Clear channel is crystal clear and crunch and lead have a great throaty rasp. Love the front grille. It will never rip. The carpet exterior looks good now and should be solid for gigging. I would think less likely to rip versus Tolex although it has the potential to get gross depending on what gets spilled on it. Time will tell. I am ordering another empty for sure.
