Gx Bottle , Black, 30oz

Originally, I gave it two stars because it leaked when I first got the bottle, but after using it for a week or so and tightening the lid on as tight as I possibly could, it stopped leaking. I don’t use it for the pods. I just use it for water because I like the way it looks.

This is a wonderful water bottle. Not only do kids like it because of the name brand and it makes them feel cool, it actually is an excellent quality. The fact that they can squirt water without having to suck on a straw which is such a pain to clean is the best! The bright lid makes it easy to locate. We bought this one as a backup when the design your own water bottle gift straight from Gatorade was lost in the mail before Christmas. Thankfully that one made it on Christmas Eve, so the gift buyer kept this one for himself! The gift buyer's mom says it's easy to clean. So far, they are both so loved that they have never been left at any games.

These are quite popular with kids and teens, especially young athletes, and I can see why. The bottles are attractive with many color options to choose from to suit your personality. The pod feature is both functional and fun, and although pods may seem expensive, they are really the same price as pre-bottled Gatorade. I buy them in bulk for a discount and that’s helpful. The insulation on the bottle is decent, especially with ice. We have some of those water bottle ice sticks, so I add one of those to the bottle at the beginning of the day. It keeps it cool through my son’s school + after school wrestling practice, with a couple refills of Gatorade or water throughout the day. We’ve found the 30oz size to be the perfect middle size - enough that you don’t have to refill too often, enough to last an entire sports practice, and not so large that it’s annoying to carry. Everyone loves the Gatorade test, but you can also just use it for water or other drinks. We save the Gatorade for sports practice and use water or drink mixes (crystal light) otherwise. I know some people have complained of leaking but we haven’t encountered that yet. This is our second bottle. We had the first one about a year before my son lost it - it didn’t leak and still performed as it should. He uses it everyday and hand washes it every evening. It’s been a good value for us and we really enjoy it.

The 30oz capacity, easy cleaning, and effective cooling with ice make this a reliable sports bottle and a solid value, especially on sale. However, the cap tends to leak when the bottle is squeezed outside the ribbed grip areas, an issue seen across multiple units.

My bf loves it he's been wanting this one for the longes. He said it's like every other water bottle that he's had other then it's gatorade, has a spot for pods, and don't leak like the others.

My daughter was desperate for one of these bottles after seeing them on the internet but not able to get them in Australia. Bottle is a great size and no issues

I am disappointed with the plastic Gatorade used to make this product. The plastic is of poor quality. I would assume ,which you should not do, they did a durability test on the product. The plastic is too brittle. My water bottle dropped from knee height and crack at the bottom.This happened yesterday. It fell of the bench onto concrete and cracked badly. Gatorade cheaper water bottles are much more durable than this expensive water bottle. It’s did not last a month. My $30+$8 (Aussie dollar)for shipping was a waste of money. Also, it leaks at the top but it wasn’t as bad as some customers experience with the product. For how much the product cost the material quality should be of the highest quality. Hopefully, Gatorade rectify customer concerns.
